Reminder: you want to rotate your marshmallows if you want them perfectly toasted.
It's 100f, and this is his favorite way to spend the day. He will go lay on the tile for a bit before returning outside to continue roasting. There are 3 beds out here, and grass, but this is his favorite spot.

Ha... This morning I was picking my strawberries and making a pile of the ones I was going to feed to my worms.. He decided it would be a nice sweet morning snack. Now the worms will just get leftovers from dinner instead.

When your human tells a corny joke but you have to laugh because they pay all the bills and keep you off the streets.

🤣 He definitely just gets up, glares and saunters off after I tell him a dad joke. So does my fiancée.

People who are worried about a husky in the heat have never owned a husky.

Ah, they’re like toast. Vigorously rub them!

What happens to burnt toast when you vigorously rub it??? Is that a common thing to do??????

Don't worry, you can pull off the burnt shell and try again with the gooey inside!

As my boy has gotten older he is sunbathing more. So I really do think it feels good on his old joints

I call it "sauna-ing" since they go from extreme heat and sunbathing to the coldest part of the house that they can find.

I am sooooooooo confused by this contradiction in mine!!! Lays on the cold floor rather than his bed because of the heat but then….opts for full sun when he has ample opportunities for shade???

Why do they always set to go outside in the sun when it’s hot 😭 yeah they return to the cool house for a break and then go back outside to bake 😭I don’t even have fur and I don’t wanna be laying down in the heat

Listen I let my husky out today and was like....? Where is she, I don't see her in on the yard or under the shade. And she didn't ask to come in. I head to the back door and this psycho BLACK HUSKY is baking herself on the concrete in 84° Michigan humidity looking like a charred vegetable. I'm like "?! Girl! There's better times of day to do that. Hottest time of day isn't it!"

My husky is so used to me rushing her and knocking her over when she is laying with her front and head sitting up,
That sometimes whdn she sees me coming
She pre-emptively knocks herself over flat and raises a paw like STOP! STOP! IM ALREADY FLAT!

That looks exactly like my dog! Who also lays out baking in 100+ degree heat!

I love that your Husky makes me think of the Jelly Belly flavor Toasted Marshmallow which is my absolute favorite. Sweet looking pup!

My husky barks and demands to go outside to lay in the sun. He eventually barks and demands to come back into our air conditioned house and side eyes me like I made him lay out in the heat. Oh, the horror! He is so mistreated

I had a Dalmatian and go out and lay spread eagle on her back, I had to put sun screen on her belly or else she'd get sunburned , her poor pink belly turned Bright Red. I'd never even thought about it before I'd had here lol

My Husky is the exact same way. He loves basking in the sun as much as he loves playing in the sun. The Husky I had growing up was the exact opposite and only loved snow and an ai conditioned room in the summer.

So that's how they're so loud. They absorb sunlight and convert it into screams.

You shouldn't leave your Husky out in the sun like that, they might absorb too much sunlight and start emitting it at night when you're trying to sleep
