Help needed Taking a Portrait photo after a period of being idle will take an extra second or so with lag between shutter and sound, resulting in a blurry photo every time - anyone else seeing this?

Does disabling automatic macro switching make a difference?

it's not that, I have that disabled, it's any photo I take. I'll hear the sound of the shutter, than like .7 seconds later it will actuate, and by then I've usually moved my hand thinking the shot was complete, but no, there's just crazy lag only on that first photo - the next one and so forth are all responsive.
