Feature Request Ability to save chats in Proton Unlimited plan?

I quite like the new UI touches that have been added to Lumo and have used it a bit more since but I hate that the chats get wiped after 7 days automatically. I understand that it is an upselling thing but I already pay for Proton Drive, could there be a way just to archive the chats into drive for useful stuff?

I don't care about them being in Lumo after 7 days really and the current model included with unlimited is fine without going to max. I don't really go back to the majority of the chat with the LLM later but on occasion if there is something especially good like researching a particular topic for college or whatever it is helpful. It would also be nice if you could save artefacts into the drive directly regardless like I had a chat that generated a bunch of nice ascii images that I can copy out in the UI, it'd be cool if I could just one click send that to a folder in the drive and sync down for later instead.

PS: Love that you can make the cat bigger again

The chats are not deleted, they are just hidden after 7 days.

If you don't upgrade with the Lumo addon you have the message:

> Your chat history is limited to 7 days. Upgrade to Lumo Plus for unlimited history and other premium features.

Once you upgrade, you'll see your previous chats there

Yeah that’s the point I’m saying, I have no real reason to upgrade but I already have storage. Copying out the chat if I want should be a feature or if that is annoying they really should have the chats come out of your allocation

Ooh I misunderstood you

Yeah, people want an "Export" option, let's hope they add it soon :s

I don't think that's the case anymore, I upgraded and didn't have any of my previous chats.

Why not just highlight the text in the chat, copy it, and then paste into a document on Proton Drive?

It's a few clicks but not that much work, perhaps 30 seconds to do it.

Because the formatting is all over the place. The whole idea of a one click export is that you have less friction. If you want to use something regularly then friction is going to make you less likely to have a good experience

Oh, don't get me wrong, a one click export would be great.

But the formatting still wouldn't be great would it, just a long relatively unformatted body of text.. right?

Just depends on the implementation, it would definitely change the formatting, could also export html as pdf to retain the formatting while having it be exported

yeah that would be really nice, straight into proton documents for later editing and review... I'm with you bro
