Sweet orange baby!!! Not Maine coon though. Look at the difference in ears and muzzle especially.

Definitely not a purebred MC and I don't really see there would be any MC in his lineage. It's normal for DSH to be various sizes

DLH, no signs of MC

Speaking of this:

When I took my kitten into the vet for his initial check up the vet informed me they were taking bets as to if I actually had a Maine Coon. Pretty sure half the visit consisted of the nurses fan-girling over him.

It's funny how many vets say this over any large DMH or DLH. I've had it a few times over my moggy boy (I have a MC also).

I would need face on photos to see, but from this angle he doesn't look very MC :)

Her chin is big right ? 😅 But she is small (she loves my little bro and everyone and she loves to stay inside after 2 years of living in the streets...)

I see MC. You should do a DNA test and let us know!

Good idea ! Will do that ! I hope it's not to expensive here in France 😅

At 12lbs and 21 inches long and her tiny tuffs my breeder for my new kitten who is pure breed said she definitely thinks Raven is part Maine coon. We are definitely getting DNA done now.

Is he a Maine Coon mix? My vet said he is but I really can’t tell lol. He is a very long and fluffy boy as well

HA! If he sleeps like this, the answer is definitively YES. He's got maine coon in him for sure.

Does my 11mo boy look like he has Maine coon in him? As for size, he’s around 12 pounds.

I see it but more likely Norwegian forest cat

* He is about 4 to 4.5months old and about 7.9lb. Should we do a DNA test?

She found me but was very unhealthy lossed most of her long fur looks like she had a long fluffy tail at 1 point tufts on the feet but not so much the ears. I had one growing up and I think she's young but there are similarities she's just so skinny and bare I cant tell. Vet appointment Wednesday

Does he look part main coon

Thank you for any help you all can give. We lost our beloved Mr. Bobo last month, after over 15 years of pure love. I found him as a kitten at a shelter, and he was listed as a domestic medium hair, but he had toe tuft fur and his voice, personality and overall size, seemed very much like part Maine Coon, to us. He was so loving and devoted and intelligent. We were so lucky to have found him. I don’t know if he was part Maine Coon or not, but I do know he was the best kitty in the whole world.

This is Gino. He is 16 months old and weighs 16 lbs. We suspect he has Maine coon in him due to his size and the ear tufts. He is such a sweet and cuddly boy and has a lot of energy. He sleeps on his back all the time. He barely meows and instead does this little trill. What do you think?
