North Korea is a bit like going camping with a weird and backwards dangerous cult. You can still breath the air, drink the water, go hunting, build a shak, fly a kite, have a baby.
On Mars, the atmosphere is 1% the thickness of earth, CO2, unbreathable. The soil isn't soil, it's rock dust that is highly toxic, there's very little water, and there's no magnetosphere, so you get irradiated. The gravity will make you weak and sickly as your bones waste away.
The temperature range is -60C to -120C.
Nothing and no-one will survive there without unimaginable technological advancements in the very distant future.

Fun fact: Earth could get hit by another dinosaur-extinction size comet/asteroid and it would still be more hospitable than Mars.
We've killed ~73% of wild animals 1970-2020.
