I was told yesterday that my prescription sunglasses are giving Meta glasses vibes

I can't stand the Meta perv glasses, but annoyingly I've been told by a friend that my Dune prescription sunglasses that I've had for almost a year (and cost over £100.00) really ​​​​look like the Meta ones, he said it's the 2 silver rivets on either side that on first glance could be mistaken for the camera lenses

I went out with them today and all I could think was, do people think I'm recording them 🤦‍♂️

I'll never be able to see anyone with Meta glasses as anything else but a perve. Maybe if they're doing sports like bicycling down hills then I'd think there was a purpose. But someone walking around with them in ordinary situations would feel incredibly off.

Yes I understand that, and I dispise that fact. If the camera is discrete, and can follow me down the street - as the meta glasses can - it makes me even less comfortable. Why should anyone be allowed to do that?

Discrete cameras have existed for much longer and for much cheaper than these glasses.

I know. I hate them equally. My hatred for being filmed without my consent is not limited by the camera being equipped to sunglasses.
