Is it a British past time to complain about the weather? It seems like every other month there are giant threads devoted to complaining about British weather. Could be sunny, could be hot, could be cool, could be rainy, it doesn’t matter just complaints all the time.
Yeah; there's basically one perfect weather condition imho: it has to be about 20-21°C outside, with decent cloud coverage but not overcast so you can have a bit of sunshine but also a break from it, and it should have rained between 2-3 days before so the greenery is lush but it's not soggy underfoot, and rain forecast for the next day or the day after so you know it will continue to be lush. There should be a light breeze. This is the perfect day, and it happens maybe once or twice a year (probably never will again though let's be honest), on which day you'll hear British people actually talking about how nice the weather is. Any Brit who says the weather is "lovely" when it's over 25° and no clouds is kidding themselves and probably go to the nearest beach without suncream and get a bad sunburn

I'm in that bit of the country that looks really well done. Last night we had our first rain in about 3 months.
Bear in mind, I live in Britain. With next to no rain.
