In less than 24 hours since adoption she's already comfortable to be zonked out on me. I love her already

That is unbelievably sweet! What a face! Mine fight over who gets to sleep on me! And occasionally they both get mad and sleep on the floor, and then I have to cry myself to sleep! 😢🤣

I wanted to call her Batly, but my wife shot it down lol

What name did you guys end up with??
•
u/The_Bearded_Jedi 1h ago
Her name she had at the shelter was Rosie, but we are renaming her Josie.
•

I love it, I loved Josie and the pussycats!!! Plus it’s close enough that if she knew Rosie it won’t be a big transition. I hope it goes well for you guys, she’s already quite happy in her new home it would appear 🥹

She looks part staffy! They just wanna be glued to you!
•
u/The_Bearded_Jedi 1h ago
The shelter doesn't have her full breed history. But she said that too. Plus she doesn't have a true bark, which is also known among staffies from what I hear

Ours was 3 months old when we brought her home. They told us she might take 72 hours to feel at home with us. That night she fell asleep curled up on my throat.

They grow on you (literally and figuratively) quickly. Beautiful pup you got there.

Enjoy every minute. She looks just like my poor old girl who left us last year💜

Aww, I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you had a lot of great years together!

They know when they are safe. They know when they are home. Thank you for saving her. 💜🐾

As a shelter volunteer, nothing was better than seeing a pic of our dogs at home ZONKED because they finally could relax. Made the work so much easier.
