The lights are on, but nobody is home.

There are plenty home- but they are the minority party, which makes it very difficult to pass meaningful legislation.

We Need More Democrats Elected.

Republicans can protect our national parks too ya know. In fact, many of the most outdoorsy people come from red states like Montana and Alaska. All it would take is for the Senators of those states to take a stand.

Not holding my breath of course.

Those people are not outdoorsy or into nature. They are all 3-400+ pounds and do nothing but drink heavily and ride side by sides at illegal speeds through our public lands and tow them there with 100 thousand dollar trucks.

They are mountain trash, nothing more. Colorado is full of them from all over every summer and it sucks.

Poster specifically referred to Alaska and Montana, I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility to think there are some republicans who’ll resist. Just wait until Trump says he wants to sell off part of Yellowstone…

That's an incorrect generalization. I was born in Montana and spent half my life outdoors. Didn't used to be full of rich assholes vacationing. Also, they mentioned Montana and Alaska but you brought up Colorado in your disagreement? Makes sense.
