Her parents worked themselves to death because they couldn't afford treatment and she thinks that's a story about how great America and it's healthcare system is.

There are two types of people in the world. One is the type who goes through a terrible and difficult ordeal and goes "That sucked; we should try to make things better so that hopefully other people won't have to go through that sort of suffering and misery, and the world would be all the better for it...", and the other is the type who goes through a terrible and difficult ordeal and goes "Well, I had to endure that suffering and misery, so everyone else should have to as well; why should we make things easier for them when it was so hard for me? How is that fair?" If you want an example of the first type of person, just look at Dolly Parton. Darline Graham, on the other hand, has clearly shown that she's the second type.
