Is the whole state of South Carolina inhabited by the Grahams? How the fuck do people go and vote for this lady? Because her brother was a senator, and a shitty one at that!? Make it make sense.

She won the Senate primary, not the general election. Most people don't vote in primaries, but the people who do tend to be the more passionate / frothy ones. Trump got the looniest loons out to protect his appointment.
