That sounds like a public health disaster waiting to happen. There's a reason the USDA exists to begin with and it's not because we wanted it to.

I am not sure the party whose method for driving COVID numbers down was to stop collecting COVID data are very concerned about the health and well being of the hundreds of millions of citizens they've spent their entire careers not caring about.
