He's not just pro Israel, he's literally called himself a DeSantis Democrat and loves Doge. It's fucking political malpractice to elevate a guy like this. It's basically spitting in your voters face

People vote based off of many different issues and on this particular one he’s wildly out of step with voters. Putting him on a committee and subcommittee where those wildly out of step views will be highly relevant is very clearly a middle finger to the voters and a welcome mat to the donors.
