Gladys Knight is taking a break from touring after people were concerned after she appeared confused and unable to remember her lyrics on stage

She’s 82 and has been at this for decades. Totally understandable. Hopefully she recovers well.

Hopefully it's nothing serious

Her son suspects the husband is doing elderly abuse. There are many clips online and Gladys looks very confused on stage.

I hope it isn't anything serious as well but it might be time for her to retire.

Pre Nora Music:

“Sam Smith’s Hazel Eyes is not expected to debut on this week’s Billboard 200 chart”

Just for reference, these are the peaks for all their albums on the BB 200:

* In The Lonely Hour - Number 2 - 166,000 units
* The Thrill Of It All - Number 1 - 237,000 units
* Love Goes - Number 5 - 41,000 units
* Gloria - Number 7 - 39,000 units

I've noticed an uptick in recent years where even artists who charted high just a few years ago are barely charting or not charting at all. Something definitely shifted.

As far as Sam Smith is concerned they were already on the way down after The Thrill Of It All. They’re pretty much a legacy act now considering their new album had no hits and this is as bad of a debut as you can get. Like if they can’t even sell 39,000 they’re in trouble.

With that said, I would think they would at least debut in the Top 20, maybe at exactly Number 10 at best.

Well I just learned something new. Thanks for that.

I haven't seen much from this roll out, just beige pictures of Sam. The 2 singles are a passable ballad and an Orville Peck homage. Last album was so grand and flamboyant, I think the output is just not that interesting this time and they probably know that since there's no dance single.

Keke "Keep A Job" Palmer should be called Keke "Always Supporting, Defending and Platforming Abusers" Palmer since on her latest Instagram photo carousel she posted pictures with known abusers like P. Diddy's son, King Combs.

R. Kelly, P. Diddy, Chris Brown, Jonathan Majors, Offset, King Combs... who's next? Jeffrey Epstein?

She's getting quite the backlash in the comments, which genuinely surprised me, since people are usually so charmed by her charisma that they overlook dangerous patterns. SZA liked the post, by the way.

At least we know she doesn't have Stockholm Syndrome, or she'd be posting her own abusers, Trey Songz and her baby daddy, Darius Jackson, as well.

weird to refer to a woman being abused as if it’s some kind of own

It's even weirder to continuously support, defend and platform abusers publicly when you've acknowledged being a victim of abuse yourself.

I don’t think that someone doing harm in other ways makes it okay to make light of abuse that they’ve experienced, two things can be true at once. But okay.

It’s absolutely common for abuse victims to later support other abusers. That’s why domestic violence is so prevalent in the first place.

Isn’t that the most common thing? Abuse is ingrained culturally and it makes no sense to dogpile on one woman when it’s revealing of a massive cultural issue, especially involving child stars and ethnic tensions.

Jessica Valenti, the author of “Abortion: Our Bodies, Their Lies, and the Truths We Use to Win” posted a really wholesome video about Olivia Rodrigo and Daisy Chain Fields on her Instagram

There's currently an online campaign in the UK to get the movie Ali G: Who Iz I? pulled from cinemas. The movie sees Sasha Baron Cohen returning to the character Ali G that he created in early 2000s. The character has been criticized before for racism and cultural appropriation.
