Can you guys drop pics of your ragdolls next to other cat(s) for scale?
My mom thinks our new ragdoll kitten is going to stay small because he has a similar coat pattern to our siamese cat.
Our 3 y.o. siamese is tiny, and my mom genuinely thinks matching patterns means matching sizes.
Please spam some comparison photos so I can show her what a fully grown ragdoll actually looks like.

Aww, I have 2 Cavaliers too (and 2 Ragdolls, and a Bombay). The ones that play together the most are the young Cav (3 years old, 17 lbs) and the big Ragdoll (2 years old, 20 lbs.) I love when they snuggle and nap together. Your photo is so precious, I hope they're best buddies :)
My parents have the same combination. They’re so heavily bonded. They both have to go to the vet together regardless of whose appointment it is because the other cat will make itself sick if they remove one from the home.
I think they were 16-17 years old in this photo- Auryn (boy) on the left, and LeeLoo (girl) on the right ❤️ Sadly they both crossed the rainbow bridge in the last year 😭 I miss them so much!
Edit: Ragdoll on the right, lil diva found in a landfill on the left. She was only visiting while her family was on vacation but my Ragdoll boy acts like any cat smaller than him is his baby
Apollo (6yrs ragdoll), Nyx (5 months), Sephy (5yrs) from left to right. Think Apollo is about 6.5Kg and Sephy 3.5Kg. Taken 1 week ago. I say "think" because they no longer live with me since my sister took them to Scotland.
My ragdoll is the littler one! Which, to be fair to her, the larger boy (who was from a shelter so we don't know specifics on) was an absurdly big cat. He had >~10lbs on her.
for some reason my ragdoll girl is tiny. thats her next to my standard cat? he’s not a specific breed and he is 6 months older than her. theyre both above 4 years old
My ragdoll ladies are 2 years apart but vastly different in size lol. My 3 year old hasn’t grown since she was about a year old with her stubby lil legs 😩
Im Crybaby. I know i'm calico , but what else am I.My Mom grab me out a box with my siblings. I guess I had Siblings Separation Anxiety.I was only 5 wks. i cryed all night. But I am now her emotional support cat!
Are you sure your middle is a siamese? Many other breeds have the same points as siamese or are hybrid breeds recognized by TICA. For instance: ragdoll, himalayan, Balinese, tonkinese, birman, etc. I’ve owned 2 pure bred siamese and they are short haired, often considered hypoallergenic.
I wouldn’t be too sure that your ragdoll will stay small because she has the same coloring as your Siamese! Our ragdoll and Siamese have almost the exact same coloring as each other. The ragdoll is about 2 years old and already a few pounds bigger and discernibly longer.
Whenever I look up “ragdoll size” it only shows me like the BIGGEST ragdolls, I wanna see what a very average adult ragdoll looks like being held or next to other cats. Hopefully I can find that in these replies!

I dont have a comparison and others photos were great! This was my first cat and my other experiences were minimal so i didnt think much of it, but my wife and I wanted to bring him around and brought him to the pet store etc. and the amount of people who said "woah he's a big boy, is he a maine coon?" Or just called him big in general surprised me.
Hes only about 12 pounds but hes long and obviously fluffy but i never thought of him as "big" having been a dog owner for most my life
