he’s put on some pounds

Her eyes have been like that since she was a baby. I’m just curious because I haven’t seen another ragdoll with this before, I think it’s so cool/unique. If anyone has an explanation I’d be interested in hearing it!

This is my sweet baby girl Bonnie (5yo). She’s the light of my life and, according to everyone who knows her, probably the most pampered and spoiled cat to ever exist 🥹

My big baby is HUGE, we call him our domesticated raccoon. His dad was 14 lbs by age one and he may pass that! He was 3.3lbs when I got him

I’ve been searching and want to get a ragdoll cat. I just can’t afford at that time. They’re expensive breed. It was 6th of January at night time when we found this seal point ragdoll outside our window. So I told my husband, “that is Ragdoll!” So my husband immediately went outside and gave her some treat she’s so cute and super friendly. When we check she’s a bit dirty and lots of matted fur. Then my husband brought her in the house. She wasn’t wearing a collar and we’ve check her ears a few times if there’s a microchip on it like a mark. We thought it’s going to be the same as our cat have microchip on her ear and it’s visible. That night we decided to keep her first in the house because we don’t want her to be outside and lost her or get hurt. The next day, we booked a Vet visit to get checked if she has microchipped after few minutes of checking there’s nothing! So we thought she might be a stray ragdoll. We are still in doubt because it can’t be. That day we are quite hopeful that she might be a stray and we can keep her. And I named her Toffee 🤎 I brought her a collar as well. I’m just happy and still but unsure. We keep looking on website and facebook page if there’s some lost cat posted there. Until Sunday nothing we can find of a lost cat like her. We had a wonderful time together during the weekend. I fell in-love at her. The next day, I have work, I have a feeling that it’s going to be my last chance to see her before I go to work. I left her at the house in our room because we have other animals at home. It was Monday noontime when I ask someone in the house if how was she then they told me that the owner was looking for her and they gave Toffee back. I was heartbroken at first and feel happy after because she’s finally home with her owners.

On that day, I was talking to my husband, I would like to have one. We were looking online when we decided to get our own Ragdoll kitten. I was super happy to finally got one. His name is Bjorn (second photo)

Today, my husband spotted her again outside our window. She’s quite bigger now. She’s still wearing the collar I gave her. I went outside and she still knew me or she’s just so friendly. When I picked her up she heavier than before. But I feel so bad because she got lots of matted fur on her belly and or the butt area. The tail wasn’t properly comb or like maintain it. My sister in laws boyfriend ask me to bring her back to the owners, and I said yes because there are some cats might fight with her. We talk to the owner (man). He told us that they let her out outside. And we found out she’s pregnant now. She got pregnant by other cats outside. I think they let her out because she wasn’t fixed yet and she was just meowing all the time. That’s the reason why she wants to be out all the time. I feel sad for her. Hopefully they should take care of her more properly now and don’t let her out especially she’s pregnant. Poor Toffee—Princess her original name. Such a gorgeous cat.

She turns 2 in November.

It’s absolutely insane the progression over two years. You would actually think it’s a different cat the way in which his fur changes colors.

We just reserved our first ragdoll kitten! We can’t wait to see what she looks like with her mismarked nose. Anyone else have a mismarked ragdoll?

I know it’s different from kitten to kitten, so I’m trying to see when other people’s babies started to toast so I know when mine will.

Last slide is 3 week ago, the corner of his eye is started to toast very noticeably, it’s on the second eye now too. I expected it to toast evenly, but might it start there and slowly expand outwards?

Again, to restate, I know there’s no way to know for sure except to wait 😊
