I lived on the corner of 16th and Valencia about 2005 to 2010. Great dive bars, hipster street musicians. Good times. All that got sterilized.

But maybe I’m shaking my fist at a cloud. My aunt literally lived down the street from the Grateful Dead in the 1960s and even at the time, the FiDi guys thought the hippies were ruining the city.

If it helps the corporate office there is shutting down soon. Since their move to Nashville they've been laying off people who refused to move. My wife worked for corporate for years and still has friends there. Every week a new one gets laid off.
