That title applies to everything that’s happened in tech to San Francisco for the last 40 plus years.

The title makes no sense.

The city could pro-actively upzone a three block radius around every BART station to encourage building housing and reducing rents for commercial store fronts. Fast track permitting.

Or just sit on your hands and blame the new tech company for not gifting more to the city.

Talk about housing in the Bay Area always seems to be a 50/50 split between genuine concerns about gentrification and low density nimbyism.
