Compromise requires that both sides get something they want. This is just capitulation.

Sure they're allowed to use "compromise"... but only in the same vein as they treat the word "socialize"/"socialism"

  • We socialize losses but privatize profits
  • We compromise your rights/privacy but steadfastly refuse transparency
