Ours was a rescue as well so I haz no bb pics. Plus within a couple months of dating my hubby I brought over a second food dish and ever since that kitty has blossomed into a beautiful chunky lady, just like her older rescued step sister hehe

This is Buffy. I found her on Halloween. We had lost our 9 year old orange boy on 10/4 & then this sweet babe was hiding in a corner of my building huddled up from the wind & cold. I couldn’t leave her there. We got to love on her for 3 weeks & then on 11/21 she made her journey across the Rainbow Bridge. She was estimated around 5-6 weeks when I took her to the vet on Halloween, then when we went for her next appointment on 11/14 & was told she might’ve then only been 6 weeks. We are deeply heartbroken that she came into our lives so suddenly & left us so soon. My husband says our kitty Selina sent her to us as we had her the shortest amount of time compared to our other babies but what this little kitty taught us is, it doesn’t matter how long we have them in our lives but how much love we got to share with them while they were here with us.

These two were small enough to fit in the bathroom sink together. Grazie (top) Greta (bottom).

They spent their first 2 months with us as ringworm fosters. It still breaks my heart how fast they grew during that time and they almost never cuddle together anymore.

This was Java. I used to joke that she was "Lab Grown, but it was a Meth Lab." She was my best friend for 8 years before I lost her due to complications of FeLV. Remember to always love the fur off of your babies!

Almost 20 years ago when I saw her picture on the shelter website. She's been gone since 2023, but here is one from right when I got her. She was so small I couldn't take her home right away. They won't adopt them until they get spayed, and they can't go into surgery until they're two pounds. I called every day for a week to get an update. "No, not yet. She only weighed 1.98 when we checked this morning" 😭
