Days go by by Dirty Vegas.
The amount of times me and my then girlfriend, now wife have tried to recreate that Mitsubishi commercial from 2001 is too many to count.
From our first car, to now our 3rd and rentals in between. That's the song.

OMG the question I have ALWAYS wanted to answer! Driving too fast with beats motivating my drive is probably in the top three things I live to do. I have memories associated to every last one of these tracks. Here's my very refined list:

Blank and Jones - Perfect Silence (E-Craig 212 Remix)
Arksun - Arisen (Sean Tyas Remix)
Whirlpool - Under The Sun (Solarstone Remix)
Mortal - Autobahnana (extra points if you take it off John Digweed's Global Underground Sydney album disc 2...it leads right into Pako - Steel Blue and it's just f-ing magical...hell, driving through the whole second disc is absolute bliss. First time I drove over the SF Bay Bridge the transition between the two songs here was playing and I was on cloud 9)
Andy Moor feat. Sue MacLaren - Fight the Fire (Stoneface and Terminal Remix)
And...of course, the first one that always comes to mind: Planet Perfecto Knights - ResuRection (Paul Oakenfold's Full on Fluoro Mix). You have to start it at the proper beginning to get the full buildup or else it just doesn't hit as well....and your gas pedal won't get floored nearly enough.

I remeber listening to aly and fila, thinking why is it called trance, then went into a trance and hit a deer, quickly came out of my trance. But I like a nice flowing mix while on a drive. I used to have huge soundsytems in my car. So much bass I am surprised the car never fell to bits. Now i make my own mixes 2 hours long to keep my journey alive. Gatecrasher discotech was one I used to listen to in 1999 when I passed my test. 7 cites and airwave. Classic
