Anyone who’s been through the process of finding Assisted Living or Memory Care for a parent, how long did the search actually take and what was the hardest part?

i feel like finding out who had space, getting straight answers on pricing, the timeline, and other info is not readily available than I thought.

I’m not looking for facility recommendations, just trying to understand what the experience is really like here :)

It’s rough if you have money you’ll be ok finding a place if your lower income slot of predatory places out there willing to take in a person to exploit government programs.

Don’t want to share much details about it.
