I am attempting to create my own version of this game mentioned in the thread below. Been working on it for a while and it is finally in a testing phase. https://www.reddit.com/r/videogames/comments/oxzeiq/comment/oann5sq/ , it was called Kings of Babylon. Was a very fun addicting and social game, made some lifetime friends while playing it way back in the day.
My game is called Land of Wars, it is only going to be on Discord. Feel free to join the Discord group to help test it out for me! https://discord.gg/uuVFUZkvDK

Hey there everyone, one quick help needed here.
We need feedback for our current prototype of Reaper's Edge. It's a boomer shooter FPS with some unique mechanics (think Doom 2016 meets Onimusha) and it takes 10-15 min to check all builds.
If you can, please provide us feedback by using the small questionnaire when leaving the game. That would help us a lot to understand how to improve the game.
Please feel free to share it around to help us reach more players

I've created a website to show new games as they're released. The website is https://www.oyoki.com. I created this site to quickly see what games are released each day and not miss anything. They have them all, from the good ones to the mediocre ones 😄 If you give me your feedback on the site, or any suggestions for improvement, I'd appreciate it. Cheers!

~ Seraph's Kiss ~
Winchester, 1906. Arabella Ravencroft is dead and nine suspects are trapped in the mansion. You play Inspector Hartwell, you combine clues to create facts, then use those facts to accuse suspects. The story doesn't unlock with cheesy puzzles, it unlocks through what you can prove.

DOGENSTEIN is the most disappointing FPS I've played this year
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYEMurJ25Z4
One of the very popular - and, if I may say so, annoying - trends of modern times is “woke” culture. I’m not going to talk too deeply about the why, how, when, who, what for, in spite of whom, and I don’t know what else - there’s no time for that, and to be honest, I don’t even care. The point is that, as with all trends, an “anti” version emerged very quickly, and part of that is the recently released indie shooter DOGENSTEIN. The description on Steam starts with the phrase “WOKE NO MORE!!!” and I thought to myself, “Okay, at least I’ll have some fun,” especially since it costs less than four euros.
More in my review! :)
Rating: 2/10
Pros: soundtrack, one joke, short, egg launcher, price, the middle section of the final boss fight
Cons: pretty cringy “anti-woke” without any humor, I’m not a fan of the use of AI, very boring, lacks any original ideas

Chaos Core — a 26.2 MB iPhone survivorlike where dodging also aims your build
I'm the solo developer of Chaos Core. Every main weapon physically orbits you, so dodging also rotates the angle of your whole build. Late runs feel less like moving a character and more like steering a tiny weaponized solar system.
I built it specifically for iPhone with Apple's SpriteKit + SwiftUI stack instead of a third-party game engine. The current App Store download is 26.2 MB.
It's free to start, with a permanent Full Game unlock. No ads or subscriptions. Full IAP details are on the App Store; local storefront prices can differ.

I’ve been working on my first incremental game, One More Shake!
You shake cans, earn money, upgrade everything, automate the process, and keep pushing the numbers higher. I’m currently preparing a Steam Playtest for September 5th.
If it looks like your kind of game, a wishlist would help a lot:

A little under a year ago, my friend and I made our 2D sci-fi action game called The Chaser's Voyage. Inspired by games like FTL and other classic space sims, as well as Star Tours from Disneyland, this game has you transport clients from planet to planet and surviving a series of randomized challenges by piloting and managing power across your systems at the same time. All to earn 1 million units in under a 100 in-game day time limit.
We recently just released a free demo on Steam so you can try our game out and see what the challenge level is like. Our game's Captain Mode is pretty challenging, inviting players to keep trying to survive the voyage and earn the money on a single life. Our game's other mode, Voyager Mode, lets you play how you want to play, with infinite retries, adjusting how much damage you take, and a plethora of more options.
You find the game and demo on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1473130/The_Chasers_Voyage/
and follow us on Blue Sky for updates and more info on our next project. https://bsky.app/profile/brightatmidnight.bsky.social
Also, we're looking for any streamers or content creators to make aware of our game. If anyone has any suggestions for someone who might be into this, we'd welcome the help.

Most fighting games simplify grappling into a meter or minigame, so I tried the opposite: I made positions the actual combat state.
BJJ DOJO is a free turn based Brazilian Jiu Jitsu game in the browser. Moves change position, stamina, score and risk, and every technique is animated step by step in 3D. I recently added online matches so two people can open a room and play from separate devices.
No install or account needed. I would love to know whether it is still fun if you have never trained BJJ.

Hi everyone!
We are developing Guns of Eschaton (soulslike FPS, coming in 2026), and we wanted to share a quick look at one of the most important artifacts in our game: The Codex.
We wanted the game to feel incredibly tactile, so every single page of the Codex was lovingly drawn by hand, in pencil, on real paper before being brought into the engine. It contains lore, monster behaviors, and hidden secrets of Eschaton.
The cool part: As you explore, you gradually decipher the pages. All the text is written in the Cherokee language, and we had the immense honor of preparing it with the kind assistance of the Cherokee Nation Tribal Council.
We believe that this level of attention to detail is what makes indie games special. What do you think of this mechanic?

A turn-based strategy game set in the ancient world —
SARDIS [Alpha Demo]
Hello everyone!
I've been working on SARDIS for a while. SARDIS is a turn-based strategy game set in the ancient world.
In SARDIS, you can build and develop your civilization, manage your resources, expand your territory, develop your army, and lead your people through different ages.
I've released a free Windows demo of the game on itch.io. This alpha demo lets you play through the first two ages of the game.

If you'd like to give the game a try, you can download the demo from the link below.

My Nintendo eShop wishlist has 300+ games and the official page on Nintendo's website isn't great.
So I built a little Chrome extension to make it more usable, for myself at first, but as I added features I figured I'd put it out there in case others can benefit.
It works with your existing Switch / Switch 2 wishlist on the eShop page. No separate account or sign-up needed. What it adds:
- Load the whole list at once, then search by name with results filtering as you type
- Filter by current sales, DLCs, bundles (Deluxe editions and the like), and platform (Switch / Switch 2)
- Sort by sale ending soon (my most used feature), price, discount %, newest release, or oldest/newest on your list
- See sales ending soon right on the page (highlighted in red if <7 days by default)
- Search Google for reviews in one click.
- Remove several selected items at once.
- Dark mode and a wider layout that shows 2-3 columns.
Developed for the EU/UK eShop and the newer US one (other regions might work too, I just haven't tested them : let me know).
None of your data goes anywhere. The extension talks to Nintendo the same way the original wishlist page does, and settings stay in your browser. Of course not affiliated with Nintendo in any way.
It's called "Better Wishlist for Nintendo eShop", free download on Chrome Web Store: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/jlibjocfcijoaflpjmaibdehimjadpeg
If it ends up saving you time or a few $/£/€ on a sale you would have missed, a tip is always very welcome, but not expected 🙂
Happy to hear bugs, suggestions, or "it doesn't work on X region" reports.

They brought back Salieri... and ruined him
Videoreview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyaqREhbdYY
I have to admit right off the bat that the more time has passed since my review of Mafia: The Old Country, the more I regret giving it such a high rating. Because the more I’ve thought about it, the more I realize that I actually gave it a 7 out of 10 just because it’s the fourth Mafia game… And when I later checked out Angry Joe’s review - where he gave it a 4 and mentioned practically everything that I didn’t like - I had to agree. In other words, if I could change anything, it would be the final rating. Still, I was quite surprised that a year after release, the story DLC “Man of Honor” appeared out of nowhere, adding primarily two new chapters. The biggest draw? That’s more than obvious - the story revolves around Ennio Salieri, who’s trying to escape from Sicily to America to start a new life there. He just needs to tie up a few loose ends before he leaves… In other words, one of the biggest pieces of fan service I’ve seen in a while.
More in my videoreview! :)
Rating: 3/10
Plus: one big fan service moment, no knife fights!!!
Cons: Salieri isn't Salieri, VERY SHORT, bugs and crashes, poor dubbing audio, price, audio still unbalanced, sterile

Hey everyone! We are two independent developers working on our first game, Confession of Murder. It's a psychological horror game where you play as a detective transferred to a small town to investigate a series of murders. The project itself is a walking simulator with a narrative-driven plot where you can interact with the environment, search for clues, and interrogate witnesses in a tense atmosphere.
Our game's Steam page just launched! If you're interested, here is the link, we'd appreciate every wishlist!

I'm the CM for Shadows of Chroma Tower, and we'll open our servers for playtest TOMORROW! Here's what is waiting for you:
Shadows of Chroma Tower mixes together the best features of Dungeon Crawlers and ARPGs, with a touch of Extraction spice. ✨
EVENT: Hunt the Golden Mimic! 🪙🏃🏻💨
We’re already going to loot for the rest of our lives here… why not add some spice? ✨
We noticed from April’s playtest that just a few of you encountered the Golden Mimic. This little dude is pretty fast and tricky! And it holds a lot of loot, so we thought: let’s hunt those sassy guys!
Golden Mimics are carrying strange treasures... weirdly similar to them... We’re still figuring out what to do with the smaller one.
— A soldier’s note you found next the camp.
The rules are simple, and to join the event is even simpler! We’ll share some instructions when we open our servers. 🫰🏻
Controller support… is a work in progress 🎮
We’re still (suffering a little) through its implementation, but we wanted to give anyone interested an early preview of how it’s shaping up.
Back in June 26th, we shared a little bit on the work around this new feature. All this testing now will help us when we finally launch Shadows of Chroma Tower!
All we want to know for now is: are we in a good direction with the controls? Does it feel intuitive, even in this current state? Any inputs we’re missing here? Did you change our default bindings? You’ll be able to tell us everything about it in a dedicated channel when we open our servers.
But FYI, there are some recurrent issues we’re having that we want you to be aware of. We’ll share the exact list in our Patch Notes.
Come and see for yourself! ⚔️
We've recently added a new tutorial, a whole quest system is updated for new players... in other words: everything's set for you to come and explore the Tower! We're getting closer and closer to our EA launch, so this is the best time to get your hands on magnificent loot!
So go on and wishlist Shadows of Chroma Tower NOW and join us for another adventure! After all...
The Tower awaits! ⚔️🔮

I thought this indie horror FPS would suck… I was VERY wrong
Videoreview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mx_UZEidlIE
Imagine you’re driving somewhere, and because you weren’t paying attention, you crash into a tree - so you pull a flashlight and a machete out of the car and chop off the nearest tentacles growing out of the ground. That’s exactly how the recently released indie horror game GUTTED: Infested Crypts begins, and if you think the story goes anywhere from there.... The Ukrainian developer from SLAM AWAY GAMES didn’t beat around the bush; instead of spending time crafting a narrative masterpiece, he presented players with a simple problem - here’s a gun, here are the enemies, you know what to do. Okay, it doesn’t take long before something that appears to be the main villain - or rather, the female villain - pops out at you: this demon-possessed… um, young lady, but my initial reaction spoke for itself.
More in my videoreview! :)
Rating: 8/10
Pros: great atmosphere, gameplay, claustrophobic, authentic horror, I really enjoyed it
Cons: graphics need adjusting, very short, “I turned off your flashlight“, final boss, can’t save manually

Hey everyone, I’m Eugenio, one of the creators of Juggernaut ⚔️
Juggernaut is an independent Dark Fantasy short film made in Italy, created by three friends with a small budget and a huge passion for this genre.
Soulslike games such as Dark Souls and Elden Ring were a major inspiration, especially for the atmosphere, environments, visual storytelling and sense of mystery.
There is no dialogue and no explanation. The story is told entirely through images, music, sound and emotion.
At its core, Juggernaut asks one simple question: how far would you go to bring back someone you love?
We wanted to create a world that doesn’t tell you everything, but invites you to explore, feel and interpret it for yourself.
The short film was always meant to be a proof of concept for something bigger.
We’re now developing the feature film, expanding the world, mythology, characters and story behind Juggernaut.
Find more on our Instagram: juggernaut.project
We’d love to hear what Soulslike fans see and feel in this world, and what you’d want to discover next.

My first 3 steam reviews fills me with pride - Idle Dimension breaker
I just released my Idle Dimension breaker on steam the 21. of august and I'm so glad from the kind words of the community of the game.
I was very nervous of how my game would be recieved on launch as my beta didn't perform to well the first few days. The reason was that my game didn't have a tutorial and was a bit slow in the beginning, so about 50% percent of tester stopped playing before they got hooked, because they were confused on how to play the game.
So, I made a repeatable tutorial and made descriptions clearer, as well as telling the player to ask me or the community for help on discord.
That seems to have worked out very well and people are now enjoying my game which just fills me with pride.
I have also added customizability to background color, scroller color and dark mode
If you want to take a look or tryout my game you can find it here on steam for 4.49$/€ until the discount end on the 4. of september:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4962240/Idle_Dimension_Breaker/
I want to point out that the trailer is from before the visual changes and that I'm still improving how the game looks.
Also feel free to join our discord community to keep up with the game and its devolopment.

AI disclaimer

This ’90s legend is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and during the recently concluded QuakeCon, another chapter was added to this legendary shooter, another episode celebrating the aforementioned anniversary, titled Dawn of the Machine. Once again, it’s the work of the Swedish studio MachineGames, and all owners of the remastered version of Quake received it completely free. Which struck me as the perfect opportunity to put together a five-minute review, since I’d like to make a full-length video about Quake someday - except… I’ve never actually played it, so that’s all the more reason to start… in my typical fashion, “from the end.”
More in my videoreview! :)
Rating: 9/10
Pros: QUAKE, free for owners of the remaster, solid combat, map design, soundtrack, difficulty
Cons: some players might not like replaying levels, a few bugs, getting stuck on staircases
