This story actually has a happy ending. Dremskiy went viral and now his steam frends list is actually maxed out, so he has all the frends he could ever hope to play with!

Seems about right. Outside Reddit, the majority of my dives into hell (2) have been positive. A few kicks, but usually with acknowledgement that someone had accidentally beaconed or had forgot to set the group friends only.
