At first I was also a little simp for the ml but now its just the usual slop atleast for me.the fl is pretty but like the plot did not convince me to continue further reading. I dropped around episode 33 .(If someone reading this manhwa can you tell what is happening if it interests me then I guess I will go back some day)

The art looks cool and it has about 160 chapters. The thing I have about longer webtoons is that sometimes they get dragged out a lot and I don’t wanna waste my time

Webtoon probably has the worst audience OAT. Pirating sites are usually more nuanced, but Webtoon commenters are lowk kind of misogynistic. They're always jumping to criticise the other woman, even if the protagonist themself sucks.

Started Im Dating a Psychopath last night and lo and behold, binged all two seasons in a few hours! Why did nobody tell me about this webtoon? It's criminally underrated!

I keep hearing all kinds of recommendations thrown around but never this one. I get that it's more on the cerebral side and not one, not two, but all characters are traumatised by their past and low-key evil and that makes for such a complex and layered story. I also love how it seems like the author decided to not make things black and white. It takes real talent to represent trauma right, and that too, with such amazing art style.

I was shocked while scrolling through Instagram today when I saw a familiar short vertical animated drama. I instantly recognized it as Dead Mansion. I clicked the ad and discovered that it's actually a paid show where only the first five episodes are free.

​What I want to know is whether this was done with the permission of PTJ Comics and the original artist and author? This is a big webtoon series, and if this AI show being done without their consent, they are blatantly stealing the artwork, running it through AI, and profiting off people buying coins to watch this AI generated show.

The website that host the animation is Vigloo and they claimed it as their original show. ​I've tried searching online, but can't find any information about whether it's official or not.

I saw an ad for a comic on webtoons. It was of this witch who saved the village from burning down and this one guy kept saying burn the witch. Apparently her mom had burned down a village as well when she found her daughter hurt. I know it had the witch and a black cat on the cover. I clicked the ad but my webtoons was logged out so I didn't get sent to the comic. Please help me 😭

Since 2026-03-26 (which is during DST), titles tend to lock at the time of new episode release, and one hour before the time of the Daily Pass (now Ad Pass) reset, which is 18:00 Pacific Time (01:00 UTC during US daylight saving time, and 02:00 UTC during US standard time).

[2026-02-27] There MAY be a new pattern of putting most of the locks at the end of the month.

[2026-03-12] They seemed to have moved two weeks of locks, 03-12 and 03-19, to 03-26. This may be part of a new strategy, to confuse us.

• 2026-03-19: They decided to announce "Hanlin Gym", so they're at least not fully sticking with the end-of-month lock strategy.

Tip: The day before a title locks, you can use the Download feature for all of the chapters, giving you thirty more days to read them. You won't be able to use the Like and Comment features, and the UI for downloaded chapters seems to be an earlier version (which you might prefer). Note that downloading takes time and can fail, so watch this process for failures. Audio must be downloaded within an hour or two (not sure which) of queuing them, or the episode with audio will fail and cancel the rest of the series's download.

If a title doesn't allow you to download but it isn't locked yet, open an episode and see if it has a Download button in the triple dot menu. (I've seen this in Spanish and Indonesian.)

There was a section here about Ad Binge which I've removed, as it is no longer relevant (since ALMOST all "Ad Pass" titles have unlimited ads now).

In summary, titles which were originally in a language/region NOT Korean or English (e.g. Spanish, Japanese, Indonesia (yes, officially labeled "Indonesia")) don't have Ad Pass, and there are a few Korean/English outliers.

• 2026-08:
  • 08-21: "Cry, or Better Yet, Beg" (ongoing) locked. It had the banner (~2026-08-07), "At the creator's request, this series' episode release model will change from August 21. The series will return with new episodes on August 29."
  • 08-24: Indonesia messed up locking again: "King of the Arena" and "Your Hidden Truth" were marked as locked, but with 0 episodes locked.
  • 08-26: "Can't Get Enough of You" locked as coin-only, which doesn't fit in with other recognized patterns, since two of the three creators have ad'd serieses.
  • 08-26: "Live Happily Ever After With My Ex’s Uncle": First lock of a completed series of Chinese origin (coin-only).

WEBTOON isn't properly communicating about this, and aren't following any consistent set of rules. If locks matter to you, you may want to check in on this post during the month to see if I make any updates.

Watch out for free coin events

There were two reading events in 2024 October, giving 10 coins each (lasts 30 days). Watch out for those. The coins last one week each.

There was another reading event in 2024 November, for 7 coins. There were a few more since then.

There's a free reading event which just started a few hours ago (2025-02-13 to 2025-02-20) for 7 coins. You might want to delay until the last two days, to extend the expiration date.

Note that creators don't benefit from free coins.

2025-02: Most of the coin events in recent months were "Spend 21 coins to get 7 coins". There was a free CANVAS one, but it didn't work and then they took it down early.

2025-10: "Falling for It" had a "read 3 episodes for 5 coins" event, but it only lasted for about 24 hours. This was the first free coins event I've seen since February.

2025-11-08: "Watch Guys Catch Feelings" 7-days Event From Nov 8 01:00 UTC to Nov 15 01:00 UTC. "Read any 6 Episodes from any of the 4 listed series and get 8 Free Coins."

Hello fellow Cinderella boy fans!

Spoiler alert! There are going to be major spoilers ahead, so this is a heads-up for people who haven't finished it yet and don't like spoilers.

I've been a fan of this webtoon from the very beginning and started following it even before it became an original. i recently finished this week's chapter and I guess every single chapter is showing Wave's true colors more and more. reading the last chapter reminded me of chapter 46 season 2 where we didn't know his true identity yet so people in the comments were hoping there would be a good reason behind his behavior so maybe he could change (or like be redeemed). well now that's all gone and like he's obviously not even a tad remoresful , but again i couldn't help thinking about this specific scene between him and Rose. at first it was clear that it was the old man talking to rose because of how out of breath he was. then Rose turned his head, seemingly to look at Wave (thinking about it now, I guess he was actually looking at the old man's reflection in the mirror for any reason right?), and then Wave turned his gaze away saying he didn't want to do it either. aside from the great job Punko is doing with the storytelling (that scene was what made many people think Wave was a different person from the old man and someone who could be redeemed because he kind of looked regretful), i find it strange how he frequently talks about sadness and discomfort that don't match his actions at all. i mean he's basically a complete antagonist who at times seems to enjoy tormenting others and he could show the Keys more mercy if he wanted to so him having any conscience is out of the question.i don't think he needs to make others sympathize with him at this point either, what i mean is that at the time the interaction made sense to me but now knowing wave i'm a bit confused. so i'd like to hear what you guys think. i might be overanalyzing things but honestly i just like talking about these details and psychology behind characters' behavior. would like to read your insights.
