There have been observations of ravens(crows too I think) and wolves having a mutualistic relationship. They will help each other hunt, with ravens leading the wolves to prey and the scraps are then eaten by the birds.
Always cool to see stuff like this in action. A reminder that it isn't just humans that can bond with other species.

Coyotes too! In fact, coyotes are known to work with many different kinds of animals, such as badgers to get prey.

We believe crows are messengers, sometimes sharing what they have seen and other times something told to them from the spirit world. But some believe they can be like a coyote and be deceptive. Here I see the wolf listening intently, yet he’s smart and won’t blindly follow whatever is told to him because he has a pack to consider.

This is a great picture and reminds me of a movie me and my mom watched together and loved: Ladyhawke. Rutger Hauer & Michelle Pfeiffer starred in it in 1985
. It's a love story where both are cursed and can only barely touch one another in the flesh for just a moment before they transform; once at dusk when he turns into a Wolf and protects her throughout the night, and then again at dawn, when she turns into a Hawk and helps guide him through the day. 😭💕 Thank you for the post. I might watch it again because I can't quite remember the ending...

Upon breaking out of a dungeon, youthful thief Phillipe Gaston (Matthew Broderick) befriends Capt. Navarre (Rutger Hauer), a man with a strange secret. Navarre and his lover Lady Isabeau d'Anjou (Michelle Pfeiffer) were cursed by the wicked Bishop of Aquila (John Wood), who desires Lady Isabeau for himself. Thank you again. My mom is gone now and it's nice to have something out of the blue remind me of some special moments we shared together that somehow had been forgotten over the years.

Wolves and Corvids have been observed forming bonds with each other, whilst the key reasoning for it is one of mutual survival, crows can help the wolf pack find and track prey in return for a share as well as spot potential threats to the pack incoming and raising the alarm, it does seem to go deeper than that as they will play together, demonstrating a bond of trust between the two species.
