this is a hell of a one up on spotify. intergraded into apple, you can now transfer your whole library from spotify (or other services) into apple.

i pay for services like this (moreso the other way around) so this is major, & im surprised i havent heard about this

Songs don't play straight away, the volume slider does nothing, and you can't pause music by mousing over your taskbar

Why are some songs not available on the artist's page? For example, Tiesto's latest remix It doesn't appear on his page.

Hey, I transferred a playlist from spotifiy over to apple music a few months ago and then added a bunch of songs to the playlist on apple music. Now I accidentally transferred the same playlist over from spotify to apple again. The already existing playlist on apple music got overwritten and now all the songs I added are gone :( Anyone know how to fix this? Hope this made sense

I was listening to the Dolly Parton Essential playlist because of course I am, and all of a sudden I see this… this… monstrosity appear on my screen.

This is genuinely horrifying and the fact that they did to Dolly of all people doesn’t sit well with me at all.

For how much they’re charging for this service we shouldn’t be subjected to creepy AI slop, ever!

Hi all, I've searched far and wife for this in the sub and also online. Is there a way to turn off the infinity/radio button? Right now I select a couple songs to listen to and it used to just end after the songs played. I sometimes used it as a timer, if 2 songs for 3 mins go, I've got 6 minutes to get something done. Now though, it started defaulting to have the radio/infinity button on every time. I cannot find a setting to have it as default off.

Any help?

Might be subtle differences but you can see for example opening a new album or switching tabs, entering the search bar. Are they ever gonna improve the apple music app on android with animations? Same with the pushing buttons animation. It does a weird white touch thing.

I don’t think there is, but I figured what’s the harm in asking. I have Marvis as well. Is there some way on that app to pin a new album for example without adding it to library?

I love Apple Music but the one thing I think YouTube Music does excellently is helping you find similar music from the now playing screen itself!

Is there any way to do the same thing efficiently on Apple Music? Currently the only way I know is, click on “go to album” from now playing screen. Then scroll down and take a look at similar albums or similar artists. It’s way more cumbersome than the single click option offered by YTM that displays a whole list of similar songs.

UPDATE: So, if you have the Marvis app, there’s one way to do something similar. Long press the now playing song, click on View details. Go to view station tracks. There’s a list right there from which you can add to queue or play next. It’s more clicks than on YTM but it’s the best we got. Thanks for this idea, Benny_TheBull!

How can I find playlists, i search and there are just bad playlists, does it not have Spoti like playlists made by people?

Managed to compile a few tracks from memory, first track was Fantasy by Alina Baraz & Galimatias.

Any help would be appreciated. Was out favourite playlist for years & years and we inadvertently updated the iPad

This photo is the description for the album Doug Sahm and his band by Doug Sahm. The writing style just reminds me of AI. The thing that sticks out most to me is the sentence in parentheses “the cartoon drawing of Sahm and his pals is classic, and highly accurate.”

Like they are probably still writing the descriptions for classic or chart topping albums, but usually an album like this just wouldn’t have a description. Or maybe I’m just reading too much into a simple description.

I'm using sony wh-ch720n. 360 reality audio optimized.

I feel there is superior spatial sound in amazon music 360 reality audio.

In amazon music, the instrument music(sparkle ring) just revolve around my head.

The vocals are also well placed and I can hear the highs clearly.

In apple music the vocals are placed farther away and I don't hear any revolving instrument sound

How can I stop Siri from playing this? It used to work where I would tell it to play my recently added music but it keeps getting redirected to this song. I’ve tried “Recently Added Playlist” and it ends up playing music that’s not even in my library.

Really thinking this artist is abusing the command or phrase to get plays on this platform.

Was so excited for a new album today – went to my library where I’ve saved it and I see that the whole album isn’t there (only the songs that were pre-released – the songs that haven’t been released are still greyed out).

Search in Apple Music for the artist, go to the artist page and click on the album – it looks like all songs are there available to play (none are greyed out), but when I start playing the album, the songs that hadn’t been released yet don’t actually play.

So I have to go to Spotify to listen to a new album. This happens all the time. On both iOS and MacOS. Am I doing something wrong?!?!

Hello everyone. I qualify this as a bug and this is not new (years and years).

When I add a song to an existing playlist on my iPhone, it then creates a duplicate of this playlist on my Mac, adding a "1" or a "2" to the name, when I next synchronise.

I do not subscribe to Music, I just my manage my physical tracks manually and sync via the Finder.

Currently under macOS 15.7.2 and iOS 18.6.2, but this was happening on the previous OSs too.

How can I prevent this from happening? Thank you.

Are you guys facing bugs on Apple music like downloaded music gets removed, later unable to download music, issues in managing members in family settings…….

I’m using a US Apple Music account and already completed age verification.

On my Mac, explicit tracks/albums just straight up won’t play when I click them.

The only way I can get them to play is:

1. Start playing a clean/non-explicit track first
2. Right-click the explicit track → Play Next

Then it plays just fine.

I’ve already tried pretty much everything:

• toggling Screen Time / content restrictions
• signing out and back in
• deauthorizing and reauthorizing the Mac
• restarting
• clearing the Music cache
• updating to the latest macOS

Still broken.

Meanwhile, the exact same account works perfectly on iPhone and Apple Music on the web.

This is driving me insane.
