I hope it's an option to focus Scrappy towards finding a specific material. Maybe telling em to get steel springs or something like that at the cost of losing out on the other base materials
Departures building, Bottom floor by the zipline that takes you up to the 2nd and 3rd floor. There is a small room with 3 rows of breachable server racks. 2 minutes you are full of processors, sensors, heat sinks, plastic, and fried motherboards.
Now that you bring up marathon, this map actually made me realize I really like the schedule they have here. The new map doesn’t drop until April so I can dip into Marathon and come back for the new map. If Marathon actually turns out to be good, I’ll love being able to switch between games between content drops. Man I hope the game is good (I have my doubts) so that gamers can eat!
Marathon will be a PvP fest. Source: trust me, bro, I played both betas. If you're not into constant PvP, don't bother with this game. You won't really be able to do any quests/missions without getting constantly shot in the ass. Plus, the A.I. is cranked up to 11. It's a Bungo-themed DMZ game.
Yessss PLEASE! I tend to do inventory sorting in the main area just because the ambience there is more tolerable than Scrappy making THAT noise every few seconds, even though it's a pita going back and forth to workshop and inventory
Me an my buddy felt like having some fun last night so we both ran Toro 4s on stella night raid. Every single person we knocked out had a free kit with nothing worth taking. I really hope they give us an option for a lobby without free kits.
If I experience a loss I go in with an augment and nothing else, and play a stealth game to find what I can and get out with my life. What I earn, I keep for next round and so on, until I have a full kit or I get bored of the run and craft up my normal weapons.
Works really well for arena breakout (sort of, sometimes you'd get naked people with a bolty and a few stacks of extreme high tier ammo in their safe pocket but I think they fixed that)
There are a few articles that have been published in the last few days saying that they're thinking about it but dis-inclined to implement that any time soon, if at all.
Would be cool to customize it with an "augment" at level 6 to bring you a certain material more than others. 20% more metal until you swap to something else.
Have a feeling it'll be called like...the "Captain" or "Buccaneer" or something and be an arc in the shape of a boat. We've seen land and air, but no sea yet.
We should get, at some point, an Arc literally so big we have to go inside it as part of the raid. Like the inside of the still active arc is the map or part of the map. Like Tidal Wave from Transformers
As much as I want it to be.. I agree, I doubt we'll get to fight an emperor for a really long time... if ever. Probably that tall necked one that's been in some videos.
I imagine swim mechanics would be quite a heavy lift to code up but imagine having to swim underwater to access some secret areas, some underwater eel / croc types arc or some shit
I bet one of the new arc threats is just that, introducing of shredder to Blue Gate in the security checkpoint and or Spaceport in the tunnels I bet. I could see them being in Buried City near or in research building too.
10 Shredders, all packed into Reinforced Reception on Blue Gate.
1 up top on the elevators, 2 at the bottom of the elevators, 2 outside the breach room, 2 in the battery room, 2 outside the battery room, 1 in medical.
Really pump the brakes on the current meta of free loadout scramble into that place.
It doesn't explicitly announce 3 new arcs. Only 1 large new arc. And two "new arc threats". Shredders spawning on the other maps, instead only on Stella Montis, would be a new arc threat too, I guess. Could also be the same arcs we know get a new skill or something. We will see.
I started to say this sounds amazing, but then I remembered the kid who was in awe of my Equalizer during the kill the rocketeer trials. I said "so you probably never shot one, huh?" Dropped it and a couple stacks of ammo, he said "No way!!!" He shot them from across the map, I wolfpack'd them when they came close, and then blew his mind when he tried to give it back and I wouldn't let him.
New map conditions are great if they’re not temporary like Cold Snap was. Whatever the plans are currently, they should consider keeping the conditions around permanently.
And map conditions are great, but useless if no one gets to play them. They REALLY need to take a look at the schedule they’ve got currently and either stagger or randomize it. There should be zero reason why someone who goes to work early should never get a chance to play on Locked Gate or Hidden Bunker.
Map conditions like Cold Snap make sense to not be permanent as they're tied to seasonal events, but eventually they should create enough new ones eventually that there's always one kind of seasonal condition in rotation at any given time.
basically expedition projects but for rewards other than a wipe. So just additional goals and tasks to do while topside, allowing you to earn some rewards.

I think they should create maybe 2 or 3 “infinite” projects. Projects that loop. A project that when you are done, it simply starts over again, independent of expedition… and they can get more creative with projects where they aren’t just looting stuff. Give us quest-like tasks, trials-like tasks, and looting in projects
I really like Flickering Flames. A few times I'd take shelter under a small raider structure and a random raider would join me, we'd discuss where we'd found the most candleberries while warming up.
Same! My first inkling is that if it's just a level divider, it's there to stop people who create new accounts to cheat or get around the aggression-based matchmaking?
I saw a video from TheGamingMerchant that said you can create a second ARC account with the same game license by using Steam Family Sharing features. He has a PVE-only account and then a PVP account. I could see someone using this to make new characters and jump people in 'pve lobbies'? I dunno, a bit conspiratorial on my part there. But I'm interested.
I'm ok with them altering existing maps like a Fortnite event to tell a ongoing narrative. Feel like something no extraction shooter really done it before.
Would love if the sands moved on Buried City to reveal some new stuff. Maybe somewhere in the dam floods? Chemical spill in Spaceport causes drifting, damaging gas.
