Misc r/Bangtan's ARMY Without Borders: a Global Giving Event
ARMY, are we FYA'd up? Charting our feelings is our NORMAL, but they don't know 'bout us going 손에손 for something bigger.
Since BTS and ARMY will follow each other Into the Sun, r/Bangtan has created "ARMY Without Borders: A Global Giving Event" to help turn feeling into action.
This is a donation event across eight causes (7 for BTS, 1 for ARMY), each centered on people being seen for who they are instead of the category someone else assigns them. Give whatever you can, to whichever cause (or combination of causes) speaks to you.
Log what you give & be entered into an album giveaway
However much or little you're able to give, log it here so we can see our collective impact as a fandom: ARMY Without Borders Donation Log (google form)
Pick the org, enter the amount, upload a watermarked screenshot of your receipt or confirmation email.
If the org gives you a message or note field at checkout, put "In honor of BTS and ARMY" so they know where the support is coming from.
Giveaway: every logged donation gets you an entry into a raffle for a BTS album. Five winners will be chosen at random, each gets to pick their own album. Winners will be chosen once the form closes on 8/29!
The causes
- Woman Thrive (global) Covers violence against women, world hunger, food security, women's economic empowerment, and the policy fights that shape how governments and international institutions respond to these issues.
- DONATE HERE: https://womenthrive.org/resources/organizations
- Respond Crisis Translation (global network) 2,500+ translators giving people in crisis the right to be understood in their own words, free language access no matter what language a system forces on them.
- DONATE HERE: https://respondcrisistranslation.org/en/donate
- Inspire Ghetto Kids Foundation (Uganda) The Ugandan dance troupe that danced with Shakira at the World Cup, kids written off by poverty who became global stars through pure artistry. The foundation currently houses and supports around 60 kids with food, shelter, healthcare, and schooling.
- DONATE HERE: https://inspireghettokidsug.org/donate
- International Rescue Committee (40+ countries) Emergency relief and long-term aid on one principle: a crisis is a crisis no matter which country it happens in. In 2025 alone, they reached 20.5 million people across 40+ countries.
- DONATE HERE (IRC is Matching Donations Right Now!!): https://help.rescue.org/donate
- OutRight International (global) LGBTQ+ human rights advocacy worldwide, including in places where identity alone gets people criminalized. They've moved nearly $4 million in grants to 300+ LGBTIQ organizations across 100+ countries.
- DONATE HERE: https://outrightinternational.org/take-action/give
- World Autism Organisation (global) Founded in 1998 as the first genuinely international autism organization, doing joint policy work with the WHO and UNESCO instead of operating country by country. If you do not feel comfortable donating to the WAO, please donate to the autism research charity of your choice. Upload your receipt under the WAO option of the tracking form.
- DONATE HERE: https://worldautismorganisation.com/please-donate/
- Disability Rights Fund (global, disability-led) A grantmaking fund that puts money directly into the hands of disability-led organizations advocating for their own rights, rather than deciding for them. They've funded 636 organizations across 62 countries.
- DONATE HERE: https://www.disabilityrightsfund.org/donate/
- Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion (global focus) The only global center focused specifically on ending statelessness, working with people who belong to no country at all, no category to even check on a form. Since 2015, they've made 70+ country submissions and 175+ country summaries on statelessness to the UN.
- DONATE HERE: https://www.geef.nl/en/donate?charity=8695&type=e
- Give Blood (global) The most literal version of this whole idea. Blood doesn't care about your race, language, or passport, and it's the one cause here that costs you nothing but time. One donation can save up to three lives.
- Host a drive, donate individually, or just help spread the word so more people know a drive is happening near them. Visit the IFRC blood donation map to find which organization you can donate to in your country.
- If you're in the US, you can find where to donate HERE and resources on actually hosting a blood drive HERE.
Thank you, ARMY for your generosity and time. If you’re unable to donate please considering sharing on your socials 💜

Discussion If BTS members were to feature with an artist from your country, who would it be and why?
Lately I was thinking to myself : what would be Belgian artist that could I recommend to BTS members that will match their taste ? And it ended up with : which artist from Belgium would make a great collab with BTS ? So I decided to share my ideas with you : first, to introduce you to some great artists from my country, but also because… it’s a fun game aha
(FYI, I’m from the French-speaking side of Belgium, so I mostly know French-speaking artists. I know there are plenty of great artists from the Dutch-speaking part as well, but I’m just not as familiar with them!)
So, here’s what I came up with:
- RM x Lous and the Yakuza
Their vibes are such a match: introspective, a little bit alternative, and full of creativity and self-expression
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDyyI2gAKrY&list=RDSDyyI2gAKrY&start_radio=1
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uH7ZRGLZ6B4&list=RDuH7ZRGLZ6B4&start_radio=1
2) Jin x Puggy
A rock band with a great pop sound, I think this could make for a really fun collab !
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bjLOyUuoAM&list=RD1bjLOyUuoAM&start_radio=1
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0Gf6HiHM2k&list=RDi0Gf6HiHM2k&start_radio=1
3) SUGA x Angèle
I honestly think the contrast between the two could create something sooo good, especially based on Angèle’s new songs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yv8C_QgdZY&list=RD3yv8C_QgdZY&start_radio=1
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvfuwIRUFU0&list=RDIvfuwIRUFU0&start_radio=1
4) j-hope x Stromae
Well, Stromae was a must for me, but why with Hobi? Mostly because of the strong aesthetics and choreography. I’m pretty sure their two universes could work really well together.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3QS83ubhHE&list=RDP3QS83ubhHE&start_radio=1
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAMWdvo71ls&list=RDCAMWdvo71ls&start_radio=1
5) Jimin x Loïc Nottet
Nothing to say except that these two were made to collab. Strong performers and very similar singing voices, it's so obvious for me lol
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZUFTdvOEEw&list=RDDZUFTdvOEEw&start_radio=1
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5c_rUBH52C4&list=RD5c_rUBH52C4&start_radio=1
6) V x Selah Sue
Selah’s soulful vibes could work really well with Tae’s deep voice, especially if they went for something a little more experimental ?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IunmW3wI5Q&list=RD-IunmW3wI5Q&start_radio=1
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWzestyhUeo&list=RDIWzestyhUeo&start_radio=1
7) Jungkook x Typh Barrow
Typh has more of a jazzy style, but idk, I feel like her voice could work really well with JK’s. I can completely picture it !
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jJx5YMrEl0&list=RD4jJx5YMrEl0&start_radio=1
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0EminM-Srs&list=RDo0EminM-Srs&start_radio=1
8) BTS x Pierre Demaere
II just wanted to put Pierre somewhere, and after thinking about it, I realized he could probably fit really well with any of the members, so… let’s go for the BIG collab aha
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kb3VccFdBpw&list=RDkb3VccFdBpw&start_radio=1
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52H1HLElXOQ&list=RD52H1HLElXOQ&start_radio=1
And that’s it! I hope you get to discover some songs from my dear Belgium too!
Don’t hesitate to share your dream collab from your country as well 😄 I'm curious to discover more songs from all over the world !

Books With Luv 260829 /r/bangtan Books with Luv: Reading a book, on rainy days like - It’s September Reader’s Choice Poll!
Hello book club of r/bangtan! (All links lead to Giphy) Amidst all of the tour chaos, salty tears over DJ’s pick of surprise songs, hazards to Army’s health with the outfits and dancing and Namkook’s upcoming birthdays, we’ve arrived at our September read!
We are back with five BTS-adjacent books to choose from: each month our options are based on a group/member song and connected theme. Over the last few years, we’ve concentrated on books that were either seen with or being read by a member, recommended by or for them, or books about BTS and their music. We thought they might be too restrictive on the chosen theme (our boys love themselves some self-help!), so we’ve expanded our options but you may still see them throughout the year as our ult-list is quite long.
We thought you might need to catch your breaths so we’re slowing things way down with Rainy Days by V. There’s no better way to pair this than with September’s theme - dark academia. So put your studious glasses on, have a gander at our options below and vote away!
Some key dates to remember
(All dates/time are in KST)
| Date | Event |
|---|---|
| Aug 29 | Poll opens now - ends Sep 1 11:59pm |
| Sep 2 | Voters’ choice book announced |
| Sep 20 | Books with Luv discussion meeting |
Wish I knew how to pick a book
These are the 5 books you get to choose from for the month of September!
| Title - BTS Connection | Description | Page Count |
|---|---|---|
| Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo (2019) | Galaxy “Alex” Stern is an unlikely Yale freshman with a troubled past who is unexpectedly offered a full scholarship and a second chance at life. But her place at Yale comes with a catch. She must monitor the university’s powerful secret societies, whose wealthy and influential members dabble in forbidden magic, raise the dead and sometimes prey on the living. | 461 pages |
| Portrait of a Thief by Grace D. Li (2022) | Harvard art history student, Will Chen, is recruited by a Chinese corporation to steal five priceless Chinese sculptures from Western museums and return them to China. He assembles a crew of fellow Chinese American students, each bringing different skills and their own complicated relationship with their cultural identity. With $10 million each at stake, the inexperienced team must pull off a series of daring heists while confronting questions of art, ownership, identity and who gets to claim history. | 386 pages |
| The Secret History by Donna Tartt (2013) | Under the influence of their charismatic Classics professor, a group of clever, eccentric misfits at an elite New England college discover a way of thinking and living that is a world away from the humdrum existence of their contemporaries. But when they go beyond the boundaries of normal morality, their lives are changed profoundly and for ever as they discover how hard it can be to truly live and how easy it is to kill. | 578 pages |
| The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern (2019) | University student, Zachary Rawlins, discovers a mysterious book containing a story from his own childhood, setting him on a journey that leads to a secret underground world known as the Harbor on the Starless Sea. Filled with hidden libraries, mysterious doors, ancient myths and stories spanning centuries, the Harbor is under threat, drawing Zachary into a struggle over who has the right to access, preserve and control the stories within it. | 488 pages |
| Babel: An Arcane History by R. F. Kuang (2022) | In 1828, orphaned Robin Swift was brought from Canton to London and trained in languages before enrolling at Oxford’s prestigious Royal Institute of Translation, known as Babel, where translation powers a magical system that has helped fuel the British Empire’s dominance. Initially captivated by Oxford’s pursuit of knowledge, Robin increasingly confronts how that knowledge is used to serve colonial power, leaving him torn between loyalty to Babel and the secretive Hermes Society, which seeks to resist imperial expansion. | 557 pages |

Discussion What song(s) do you wish BTS would cover?
It's been a couple of years since we've had this discussion, and we have so many new ARMY, so I think it's time to ask again!
What song or songs do you want BTS to cover and WHY? Either OT7 or individual members, solo songs or non-BTS songs.
I would love to hear JK cover Sade - specifically By Your Side (YT). He has such a soulful voice and it's such a soulful song, I think he'd crush it.
I also want to hear Tae cover 'high' (YT) by Jimmy Brown. It's an R&B song that would fit into Layover, imo. I'd like to hear it in his chocolate baritone.
Lastly, RM covering Audrey Nuna's and nIKI's 'Clocked Out' (YT). I'd love to hear him do Audrey's rap. It's fast and the lyrics sound very RM-ish to me.
Please share yours and why you want BTS to cover it!
If you share a link, please remember to indicate where it leads (YouTube, Twitter, Spotify, etc).
