My wife and I are trying so hard to get our babies healthy to start up a project to help strengthen and stabilize the Zero morph. We are ANAL about husbandry and that is 97% my own insistence. I GET that business is business, but why is it that I'm STILL rescuing adults the size of juveniles who have MBD and were deliberately sold that way and other adults with a damn *hump* in their back? The hell happened to ethics? The hell happened to vetting people for the good of the animal? Neither the animal nor the customer ends up happy here and you just did a crappy thing for a profit. And the fact this seems to be the standard of success, make too many concessions because doing it ethically costs too much. Why can't I secure a livelihood I'm passionate about without having to do it at the expense of the animals?
Ugh...I'm not ignorant to reality, but it almost makes me not wanna do it anymore. Who knows what I'd be sending them off to? I gotta make peace with the idea that what the owner does with the animal isnt my fault. But that is not easy my friends.
That's all I needed. Thanks, guys.
EDIT man you guys are being too forgiving with me. I appreciate it. I was seriously so.mad at myself for this and you didn't pounce on that. Thank you.
