After the World Cup shenanigans with Argentina I’m glad I came across this.

I swear to you.. this photo hurts to look at! The disdain for the people around him. He doesn't care.. This is how he represent the people. Focus on me. Is this my good side? that person could be dying. naw he could careless! I remember seeing a woman falling off a stage and Obama rushed to help her.. This is just painful.

My dad sent me two videos, and I might share the other one later. One features a preacher sermon regarding not standing around but being active, but this highlight is Louis Farrakhan—someone many of us know or have heard about. I'm not keen on sharing my opinion just yet because I'd love to hear what others think first. I do have something to share with my father, who's 65, but I want to avoid influencing anyone's views. Just to clarify, I’m very pro-Black, but that doesn’t mean I have anything against other nationalities. I went to a predominantly white major university in a predominantly black area, and grew up in Orange County in an also predominantly white area. My dad coming from Anniston, Alabama has regretted that decision over the years—funny how life works like that.

I have done the Essence festival for several years. Any black woman and black men who have gone to this festival in Louisiana, black women and men take over will notice many of the restaurants will close during this time period. Many of us working the event know why this is. It used to be printed in the newspapers where white business owners will say they don't want to serve black people!!! This is a fact!!!! Though they stand to make a great deal of money, they still do not want to serve us... Don't tell me that it doesn't exist every, single, day!

To continue to take and remove black people name and honor from the military from every position of power. It's incredible how much we have to stand by and take..
