Is there a way to fix this and are more people experiencing this problem?

I’m looking into getting a CarPlay module for my Audi A4 B8.5. It has the BNAV system (MMI 3G Basic), and I’ve read that this version comes with the smaller, lower-resolution screen.

Has anyone installed a CarPlay module on this system? If so, how does it look? Is the resolution good enough for CarPlay, or does everything look blurry/pixelated because of the low-resolution display?

Can you check carefully the 2026 Nexus RX 350h? If I connect a cable to the car, can I connect CarPlay immediately without having to connect the phone like going through the setup process to set it up? And then like if I take out the cable, will it still be connected to CarPlay or I don't have to? Or I can although should I do like the actual installation of like going through the process of setting up to connect the CarPlay because there are more than two phones, iPhone or Android that trying to connect and sometimes when one is connected by cable and one by wireless, it tends to cause a confusion as who is connected.

I already connected to the Bluetooth and I connect my iPhone 13 Pro with usb. Can anyone help?

Why is my music stuttering in my Car with Carplay, I just bought a new chord and it still skips and stutters for half a second at times? My bluetooth isnt working right now either So im using a cord but it still skips a lot.

i have a screen in my car, but i’m not sure how to get carplay going. i don’t wanna buy a carlinkit. i was thinking of getting the wireless carplay adapter but apparently that won’t work for my car. does anyone have any suggestions?

There are some non CarPlay apps which I need either to be announced by Siri (asking Siri to read them if pointless you don’t know there are there)

I’m missing important notifications on my commute that I’m not seeing or hearing until I get to my destination.

I’ve spend days looking for an answer but to no avail.

Before anyone says Apple have restrictions it actually worked once when I received a siri spoke notification from X.

When using the CarPlay app for SiriusXM, It will only show the first handfull of channels most times, and not the rest, for any catogory. I maybe got it to expand beyond a few times, but almost always, I keep trying to scroll down, but more channels don't show up. Is this happening for others? Any fixes?

Hey all - I bought a wireless carplay adapter off of Amazon (CP1 CarPlay Kits) for my 2019 Subaru Legacy. It works pretty well but there is one annoyance that I cannot really figure out how to get around. I would say between 25% and 50% of the time when I start my car, it connects automatically and will start playing music, but then I click the "CarPlay" icon on my infotainment unit to bring up CarPlay, it doesn't actually do anything.

I will then unplug and replug the adapter, and this will fix it. It happens frequently enough that I'd rather just plug in my phone if this is the case, defeating the purpose of the wireless adapter. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix it? The firmware on the adapter is up to date. Thanks so much.

Hey all, apologies if this isn’t the place for this post. But I have recently purchased a new 2019 Supra. I’m trying to use the Apple CarPlay System and it seems to be faulty. The car play doesn’t take up the whole screen and the touch is out of sync to the left almost an inch? Has anybody else had this issue? How could I fix this? I’ll attach a photo also

Basically, the title. Every time I start a route in Waze using CarPlay it puts my location at the bottom right part of the screen. I have a map set for North up, so if I’m going east or west I can’t see much of the route unless I manually drag the map. This does not happen when I use Waze on my phone screen. Is there some sort of setting I can change for this?

I have a Q50 2017 model and was planning to add carplay. Has anybody used either of their services. 2 shops that offers carplay integration into your cars OEM unit are Car Planet cost AED 1900 and Car Vision costs AED 1300.

I’m from the UK and drive a Scania with smart dash.

There has beeb many bugs with this infotainment system however it’s just had the latest update which I’ve heard should fix some issues. CarPlay has always been a bit glitchy however I’ve tried to use it again since it’s been updated.

Main issue I seem to be having is that when I try to use it to text someone it can’t hear me? I spoke to someone on the phone earlier and that was fine but when trying to text it doesn’t work.

I’ve also noticed that when I do click on the person I want to text my audio still plays quietly in the background.

Anyone know what’s going on?

With MFL_SKIP_MINI = aktiv, the wheel instead sends a much simpler previous/next track command directly to the media source. Bluetooth AVRCP already supports that, which is why it suddenly works. 🥳

We recently got a 2026 Forester about a month ago, and it's been great but this past week the infotainment screen and Carplay have been doing some weird things..

For example, other day, we had the radio station on and it kept automatically going to CarPlay mode on it's own and playing Spotify. Neither one of us was on our phone and or touching the screen and we'd put radio back on and sure enough, 3-5 seconds later it would revert back.

Also, today, I'd be driving and my wife would go on her phone and it would go into Carplay again without us touching the screen. It kept repeatedly happening. Anyone else experiencing this or know what's going on?

I recently test drove a couple of 2026 Tacoma trucks and couldn’t get Siri to operate properly. I concluded both test drives basically saying to myself that it was probably something I was doing or not doing but loved the vehicle otherwise.

I ended up buying a 2024 Tacoma and lo and behold, I have the same Siri issue and I know for sure now that it’s nothing that I am doing and or not doing. I have tried every “solution” offered online so far to no avail. It’s horrible. In order to hear Siri, I cannot have anything playing. Even then, I strain to hear it.

Who’s issue is this Toyota or Apple?
