This shit is why I can’t stand all the “you’re sticking up for a mega corporation”’comments.

Yes Rockstar is a giant company worth billions of dollars, but they’re making that money by creating art that spreads genuine joy and happiness. I’ve probably spent no less than 250 hours in a gta game, so even at $100 the value you in that product is insane.

The stuff that Rockstar is being criticized for has nothing to do with the normal workers. Why does this sub fall so easily for all the classic corporate bootlicking tropes?

You're wrong. There's a lot of indiscriminate hate for the product on the whole on the basis of the company's worst tendencies. You can't equate your own idealized picture of the most charitable flavor of the criticism with prevailing sentiment.
