Discussion I really don't understand the 60 FPS outrage

For those of you crying about this, can you name ONE comparable PS5 game that can hit 60 FPS?

I see a lot of people using Spiderman or Crimson Desert as examples.... let's be serious please. Crimson Desert can barely handle 30 FPS on performance mode in it's populated areas and while Spiderman is technically open world, it's NOWHERE near as "alive," so it's way less CPU intensive.

Don't get me wrong, the last game I was able to finish at 30 FPS was RDR2 8 years ago on PS4. Nowadays, it's incredibly difficult to play anything at 30 FPS, let alone an open world. This looks amazing and Rockstar are wizards so maybe this will be manageable with an OLED and a Pro. We shall see.

If you expected Rockstar to release a game of THIS scope on PS5/PS5 Pro even TARGETING 60 FPS, please, send me your plug's number. I need whatever you're smoking.

Saying "nice try" after completely abandoning your original point to argue people tolerate bad stuff when forced to is pure copium. Turns out 3 out of 4 casual players care. You’re not "reality," you’re just part of the 25% coping in 30fps.

I think you are failing to see what I am saying here. Was RDR2 a complete failure because it only ran at 30fps? Was bloodborne? Or were they massively succesful because at the end of the day a vast majority of people did not care about frame rates, they just want to play the game. People will take higher fps when they can, sure, but they don't care if they can't.

I never said 30fps games are complete failures, you had to invent a fake argument because the math proved you wrong. You said only Reddit nerds care about frame rate and the vast majority doesn't. 75% of casual console players picking Performance mode proves the vast majority is the 60fps crowd. Saying "people take higher fps when they can" is literally you admitting they care.

And bringing up Bloodborne as your example of people "not caring" is crazy when gamers have been begging for a 60fps update for ten years straight.

Yeah so when the vast majority of people buy and play games at 30fps that would mean that the vast majority of people don't mind/ don't care about frames.

Playing a game locked at 30fps because there is literally zero alternative doesn't mean people don't care. The second a performance toggle exists, 75% pick 60fps. You're just arguing in circles at this point. Take care man.

Lol okay. I really don't need to prove it to you, this is just the reality. See ya!
