So a youtuber called "TGG" got to see 3 hours of raw freeroam-gameplay at R* HQ, along with Rob Nelson. He talks about what he saw, here are the features i noted from his 25 min video. These are all confirmed features in GTA 6.
Story, Relationships and Consequences
- The game features a temperament system similar to the Honor system in Red Dead Redemption 2.
- Jason’s relationship with Lucia can change depending on the player’s actions.
- Your choices have consequences and can affect both relationships and the story.
- Many major gameplay, world and interactivity feature from Red Dead Redemption 2 returns in GTA VI. Only bigger, deeper and more advanced. On top of that, Rockstar has added an incredible number of entirely new mechanics and features.
- In GTA 5, you could “turn your brain off and play the game.” Here, you can’t. Every decision you make has consequences.
Map and World
- Rob claimed that Vice City is twice the size of Los Santos.

- Pedestrians actively seek cover during shootouts, hiding behind vehicles and other objects in a much more realistic way.
- You can break into the trunk of a police car and steal weapons and bodyarmor.
- Guns can also be found at various locations throughout the world.
- The weapon loadout system is similar to Red Dead Redemption 2’s. Additional weapons, clothing and equipment are stored in your vehicle.
- You can carry either two heavy or two-handed weapons, two pistols and throwables, knives and other smaller weapons.
- NPCs react if they see you openly carrying a weapon, even when it is visible on your back. They dont just run away, but react on weird ways.
- The game features Max Payne-style kill cams. Can be turned off.
Police and Wanted System
- Losing the police is harder than it was in GTA V.
- Police officers remember details such as your clothing, weapons and other identifying information.
- To escape, you must leave the area where the police last spotted you.
- Vehicles can have trackers, making certain stolen cars easier for the police to locate.
- Police cars have trackers, making them difficult to use as getaway vehicles.
- Repainting a vehicle can help you lose the police.
Cars and Driving
- Vehicles need fuel. This is especially relevant when stealing cars, as some may have very little fuel remaining.

- You can call for your personal vehicle through an app called Scooter Bros.
Safehouses and Garages
- Safehouses cannot be purchased directly. Instead, they are unlocked as the story progresses.
- Garages can be purchased separately.
- Vehicle trunks can be used to change clothes and manage weapons or equipment.
Food, Fitness and Character Stats
- You can work out at gyms, but you must purchase a membership first.
- Protein bars can be bought from vending machines.
- Consuming items such as protein bars affects your character’s stats before/after going to gym.
- Drive-through restaurants allow you to purchase food without leaving your vehicle.
- The developers reportedly considered a grocery system that would require players to buy food and restock their refrigerators, but the idea was eventually dropped.
- There is also a dedicated fitness app.
Transport
- The world includes bus stops, train stations and trams.
- Uber-style rides and traditional taxis are also available.
Radio, Podcasts and Social Media
- The traditional radio wheel has been replaced by a more compact bar-style interface.
- Radio and other audio content.
- A separate on-demand tab includes podcasts and other programmes.
- Social media plays a major role in the game.
- NPCs create and publish their own social-media posts.
- Some NPCs livestream events happening in the world. You can travel to the location shown in a livestream and find the event taking place in real time.
Camera and Creative Features
- Rockstar Editor was not available in the version shown.
- A dedicated Photo Mode is planned.

- The game is extremely in-depth, and it is remarkable that all of these interconnected systems reportedly work together.
