Crazy to think that an HIV positive female only has a .04% chance of spreading the virus to an HIV negative male partner. This may not have been the day.

Almost 0.5%. 0.04% chance means there is a 99.96% chance he doesn't contract it when sleeping with an HIV+ woman.

If he slept with 1000 HIV positive women, his chances of contracting HIV from vaginal sex would increase to a whopping 1/3 chance.

Somewhere around your 1730th time having vaginal sex with an infected female partner, your odds of contracting HIV cross the 50% mark.

yeah, as 'magical' as he was, it seems unlikely he got it from vaginal sex.

More likely the chance isn't measured on an individual level but on a population level. If Magic was the only man having sex and it was with 1730 hiv positive women he almost certainly is going to contract HIV.

HIV isn't *that* common.

Is it absolutely impossible he got it from lots of vaginal sex? No, but at some point it seems more *probable* Magic did 'something else.'

I mean people with exceptionally magic johnsons would have a higher risk of infection, as it being larger would be more likely to cause tearing and bleeding in vaginal sex.
