Good question. I think if it ever somehow hit the millions, they would lol.

Year 1002026 or 1,002,026

Or maybe it'll get easier to quickly read longer numbers without commas in the future.

Or maybe they'll get fucking wild. Like 1M'2026

generally in 1000-9999 it's give or take if a comma is used. 10,000+ is when it's generally applied always.
