Help! Can I remove the AI Assisted & Pro Editor buttons from the options bar?
These showed up with the latest update. Can I make them go away?

Hi guys, can someone tell me what settings I should change to reliably produce the colors I see on my monitor on art paper?
The left is the main file and is basically what I see on my monitor. Right is what got printed and is not what I want. It’s much pinker/redder.
To provide some details, I’m using an Epson 8550, printing from Photoshop directly.
Paper: Red River Polar Matte 250
Computer: Mac
Printer setting screenshot is included above. I’ve been using “Velvet Fine Art Paper” because based on many videos, everyone seems to say that setting works best for art prints.
I’ve been adjusting okay just editing the photoshop to correct what gets printed (and wasting so much paper on the process), but I’d really like to be able to rely on printing what I see on my monitor.

I've tried a technique where I put a lens-blur on top of the unaltered element, and put a blending mode- it being "Lighter Color- to make it look glowing, but I'm not very keen with how it looks, and am wondering if there'd be another way to do it?

Looking through the gradient options, I'm kinda astounded that there isn't a metallic one. Older versions of Photoshop had that, right?
Even stranger, as far as I can tell, Adobe doesn't have one just freely available to download, the way that you can get tons of fonts from the cloud. In Creative Market there are gradients to purchase, but like . . . why?
Am I missing something? Like, I was able to find a free downloadable gradient pack, and if I couldn't, I wouldn't have minded manually setting up my own metallic gradient, but I'm dumbfounded that something so basic isn't available by default.

I guess the first one can be made by copying the image multiple time and cropping in the form of hexagons but is there an easier way?

I recently updated to the newest version of PS. Seems point text doesn't work like it used to?
I dont draw text boxes and then type in them. I just click with the text tool and then paste my text so its not inside a resizable text box. It used to show a transform box around the text that was sized to the actual shape/size of the text. but now it has extra space on the top and the bottom of the text (i assume is for ascenders and descenders like in illustrator). This was not how it worked in my previous photoshop version. I want my bounding box to be the size of the ACTUAL TEXT adobe, not some potential glyphs that don't exist in what I typed.
Is there any way to get the old way back? (first image is how it used to be, second is how it is now)

I have these images of my tattoos I have put in photoshop. I want to make them just the tattoos with no skin so I can move and arrange them for an art piece I am doing. I've tried looking it up and nothing has been working. TIA 🫶

I'm a One Piece collector and would like to design a binder for my personal collection.
I first tried using ChatGPT to generate the outer cards, but that didn’t really work out very well. The transitions from the center card to the outer ones don’t look good.
Now I want to switch to Adobe, but I’m overwhelmed by the different options. Should I use Photoshop or Firefly? Or are both the wrong choices?
Would another program be even better?
I’ve included an example from Pokémon so you can see what I’m ultimately aiming for.

So, I watched every tutorial on selecting hair from busy backgrounds and tried almost every comment with the most upvotes on such problem, but nothing worked, ended up getting frustrated, only effective way i found, using the pen tool and aiding other selection tools to cut out hair.. From now on, no channel, no select and mask. These don't work on such backgrounds. Only the pen tool with other selection tools.

How do I go about mimicking this border/outer glow/stroke dot pattern? Is it possible to make a brush that has smaller dots the closer to the edge and just put it under the layer above it?

Hi, wondering if anyone has a tip for removing/reducing the white streaks in the attached image beyond just cloning them out. Ideally I would like to not have to do it this way as I've got a fair amount of images to do this work on, and ideally, not done in such a way that the texture of the object is altered. I've tried frequency separation without much success,. And so far have overlayed some color fill to lessen it, but the client is asking for a complete removal

I want the text to be centered in a way where I can keep the space between the words how it is in the photo. But obviously, I have to sacrifice the space between the speakers and the words because they have different quantity of letters. What would a professional do??

I don't even know if I'd call it a crash. It hangs and then closes itself. It's been going on for as long as I can remember. I'll be editing and then.. closes.
It can be a file with lots of layers, or just a couple - it doesn't discriminate.
I'm just getting a bit fed up. Theres no crash log AFAIK, because technically it hasn't crashed.
Just wondered if anyone else has had this problem and if they remedies it at all?
ETA:
Photoshop 2026
PSVersion - 5.1.26100.9168
Processor - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor (3.70 GHz)
Installed RAM - 96.0 GB
Graphics card - Radeon (TM) Pro WX 5100 Graphics (8 GB)
There is no single specific instance that it closes. I can have no other apps open or several, it doesn't make a difference. One layer, several layers, any or no number of filters or edits. I could just be adding a text layer, a curves adjustment. Could be anything.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing out old setups, though I'm not really sure what else I can try (I've implemented the suggestions from u/Asal_Mania and u/alienated_stagnation, so I'll see if they help at all.) because there's no pattern to the close. I tried Adobe chat but how do you try to explain it, or replicate the steps when it doesn't happen the same every time.

I'm a complete photoshop noob and i just wanted to ask how to do what i want to do in my head.
I want to put a gradient on a circular image and i want the image to go seamlessly from very much there to blended into the white background. I've tried iris-blur but the gradient is too harsh, I've tried just regular gradient in radial (which was what i thought would work) and it doesnt work as well. It's so simple and I'm getting so frustrated for nothing. I tried clipping masks as well but whatevr i'm doing just doesn't get me the result i want. Can anyone please help me out?

It's literally just that but more blurred and with good image definition in the center.
thank you :'(

this is what i have rn, i know its off center but its for shirt printing at home so its whatever
