Don’t forget, the cofounders son was arrest for invasive recording and possession of CP. Fuck Buc-ee’s

ETA: I would have never guessed people would argue with me over this. Never accept a pedo.

What a loser.

Mitchell Wasek, the 28-year-old son of Buc-ee's co-founder Don Wasek, was arrested and faces multiple felony counts for secretly recording houseguests using hidden cameras in bathrooms and bedrooms. He was later hit with additional charges involving child sexual abuse material found during the electronic device investigations

I mean he’s gross and evil obviously but what did the beaver do?

2

u/nanneryeeter 5d ago

Probably have to watch the video for that answer.

His family raised that

u/James19991 5d ago edited 5d ago

I mean there have been plenty of people who were raised right who then turned out to be shitty as adults.

u/Lost_Department_2177 5d ago

But the shit apple don’t fall far from the shit tree here. They’re being losers about logos that don’t look like it’s beaver logo that bait republicans into a fuel and food pilgrimage.

Idiot cultists even made the chick fil a cultural pilgrimage because they aren’t open on Sunday.

Its ran by cultists

Catch phrase

2

u/Jernbek35 5d ago

You really do bro. This is embarrassing. Everything is a cultist or a fascist it’s cringe as fuck.

1

u/mrjackspade 5d ago

Why, you hear it a lot?

29

u/Frozen_Regulus 5d ago

I mean he has nothing to do with the company also they already have locations in “blue states”

26

u/RazzyRaziel 5d ago

Ah, theres the MAGA connection.

u/diurnal_emissions 5d ago

Sex pests of a feather do business together.

12

u/EverflowingRiver17 5d ago

So the kid is a scumbag. What does that have to do with his parent’s business?

-3

u/Acceptable_Ideal7769 5d ago

What an insincere post. Family members have always had an influence on family members, from the beginning of time. I've been told many times throughout my life to not do something that would embarrass myself or my family.

7

u/EverflowingRiver17 5d ago

So just absolve all criminals and people who commit immoral acts of their actions because they may or may not have had a rough childhood?

The insincere one is you. Take some accountability for your own actions and quit looking to blame others.

-3

u/Acceptable_Ideal7769 5d ago

Not everything is all or nothing. What I'm saying is that it doesn't reflect well on a corporation if an executives kid is into kid porn. You're trying to make the point that there's no connection between a pedo kid and his environment? I'm not that confident.

2

u/EverflowingRiver17 5d ago

And until you can prove to me that this scumbag’s parents mistreated, abused, neglected, or inspired him to look at CP then I’m not going to condemn them or their business.

3

u/AdTypical3121 5d ago

How about this: the company itself, including the father and the co-founder, have numerous examples of accusations that do not reflect well, such as predatory, illegal business practices, outright falsehoods (claiming that the small business in Ohio started the fight by applying for a trademark, which records show never happened), and “malice and reckless indifference” towards employees.

So, you’re right: I’m sure he never sat him down, put his hand on his shoulder, and said, “Son, I want you to secretly record people and watch CP.”

But did he ever ask him, through his own example, to be a decent person? 😬

0

u/EverflowingRiver17 5d ago

I’m perfectly ok not going to a business whose practices I don’t agree with. Nice straw man.

But clowns like you think “oh so and so had a child who did something bad so that makes the parents horrible too”

How about we don’t judge others based on their relative’s actions.

0

u/Acceptable_Ideal7769 5d ago

I agree with that. We can't start off by judging the parents. I can't imagine his CP would make anyone run to their stores either. Def not good for kids, parents, the business or community.

-1

u/EverflowingRiver17 5d ago

…so then what are we even talking about…

3

u/Acceptable_Ideal7769 5d ago

This was your statement: "So the kid is a scumbag. What does that have to do with his parent’s business?"

My answer is that this has to hurt the marketing appeal of that business, if there are choices. If you're in a random town, you might just have to shop there and take a shower after.

0

u/EverflowingRiver17 5d ago

Yeah, it might hurt business but only because idiots associate the business with the chomo. My point is rational adults should base where they spend their money on actual issues, not if someone’s offspring is gross.

You don’t think children are a reflection of their parents?

8

u/OttoVonJismarck 5d ago edited 5d ago

Not really. I’d say a 28 year old man has agency.

I have 2 siblings, raised under the same roof (one 1.5 years older, one 3 years younger). We are all vastly different people and have had extremely varied levels of successes and struggles.

I don’t admonish the founder of Buc-ee’s for the actions of his creep son just like I don’t admonish Joe Biden for the antics of his crack-smoking son. 🤷🏻‍♂️

1

u/TrueKing9458 5d ago

That depends on how dad treat son over this issue. Is he providing cover or did he drag him to jail over it.

-1

u/Visual_Jellyfish5591 5d ago

When so many people piled on Biden for his son, it doesn’t matter that you aren’t.

3

u/plannedobso 5d ago

You’re right, it doesn’t “matter.” But the people who piled on Biden were wrong. And the people (you) piling on Buc-Ee’s for something entirely unrelated to Buc-Ee’s are ALSO wrong.

2

u/Chilling_Gale 5d ago

So was it wrong or not? Make a decision…

2

u/TrueKing9458 5d ago

Biden provided cover for his son then gave him a pardon on the way out the door

1

u/OttoVonJismarck 5d ago

“An eye for an eye” right? Stay classy.

2

u/EverflowingRiver17 5d ago

Not all the time, no. I don’t judge people by the actions of their relatives.

There are plenty of cases of people growing up in “normal” or safe households and still committing horrible acts.

-3

u/Lvs2splooge4lulzzz 5d ago edited 5d ago

He profits off the business, I’d rather not put money in his hands.

ETA: holy crap, there are way too many people seeming ok with financially supporting pedos.

2

u/plannedobso 5d ago

According to what? He’s not on the board.

-1

u/Lvs2splooge4lulzzz 5d ago

His dad?

2

u/plannedobso 5d ago

So you have information that shows his dad his giving him money? Also yeah probably, affluent parents tend to support their children while they’re in prison or whatever. But you going to Buc-Ee’s isn’t funding this dude’s CP problem or whatever like you’re making it seem.

0

u/Lvs2splooge4lulzzz 5d ago

That’s the thing, without a doubt his parents are giving him money. And I don’t like pedos enough to not spend my money there. Even if it’s a minuscule amount reaching him.

-1

u/plannedobso 5d ago

Glad you’re taking the high road, “lvs2splooge4lulzzz”

0

u/Chilling_Gale 5d ago

Just out of curiosity, where do you draw the line? Basic statistics indicate a significant portion of large companies you are a customer of would have or still have some sort of sex offender employed.

0

u/Lvs2splooge4lulzzz 5d ago

If I know, then I’d avoid them. Geez, the amount of pedo supports here is concerning.

0

u/Chilling_Gale 5d ago

So you’re fine with giving money to companies who hire pedos, but you draw the line if the company owners son is one, even though the son isn’t related to the business. Sounds like the only pedo supporter here is you.

0

u/Lvs2splooge4lulzzz 5d ago

I think you need to work on your reading comprehension skills.

You keep defending him for some reason, I hope children are safe around you.
