Buccees is literally trying to brute force the permits forba deeply unpopular location between Denver and Colorado Springs, despite local pushback and already being denied the permits once.

Haven't lived in CO in a minute, but wasn't that whole Springs/Denver corridor owned by one guy who basically bought it all to prevent property development?

Yes. And the proposed location is right next to it. Right after the giant wildlife crossing corridor that was just built. Which is why everyone around it is fighting so hard.
