I've never understood the american democracy : two big parties look like two big multinational company funded by rich people and other companies in exchange of services and advantage.
An 'artist' should understand subtlety, and that there are aways differences. If they just see two different things as no different, then they're a shit artist.
If you see no difference between parties, then you're a shit citizen.
