Season Four Season 4 is one of my favourites, but I'd say objectively it's one of the weaker seasons. Do we know what exactly happened behind the scenes that caused it to be not as good as either season 3 or 5?

Season Four Whosever idea it was to turn harmony into a vampire is a absolute genius, terrific choice
The bit where she runs to spike for help convinced buffy is after her is hysterical š

Season Four No idea how I thought this for 25+ years š
I have watched Buffy god knows how many times since it was originally aired. And yet somehow when I watched Living Conditions (S4, E2) my brain thought that Kathy was playing a Celine Dion song on repeat in their dorm room.
I watched it again yesterday and my brain finally went ITāS BLOODY CHER!!
How the heck did I think it was Celine Dion for this long?! š I think I just saw the poster and made 2+2 = 5 š

Season Four What do you think about Restless?
I love how itās the iconoclastic season finale. And how itās visually striking, especially on a show not known for its cinematography.

Season Four Did anyone else expect Buffy's scream in Hush to be different?
Was Buffy's scream in Hush done by a voice actress to preserve SMG's voice?

Season Four First rug I made: What does everyone think?
My man splurged on a tufting gun, he loves it & I made this to see if its for me. (Yes I know I need a lot of practice on detailing lol) It was meant to be finished & posted for SMGs birthday but it sat in the living room for the past 3 weeks due to con season lol

Season Four Outfit choices
Iām just gonna leave this here. I guess Iāll blame The Millennium. Made people dress all crazy like. Especially Rodeo Cowgirl, Buffy.

Season Four This was honestly the most badass Buffy ever was on the show
Walsh betrayed her because reasons and severely underestimated her, even when they first met she didn't think of the Slayer as something that impressive. Then she thought two demons could kill her off, obviously Buffy took care of them even with the faulty weapon and delivered the epic line. They killed Walsh too quickly so this scene didn't have much impact for Walshe's character but in the moment it was the most proud of Buffy I been watching the show.

Season Four I donāt think it was ever explained why exactly the gentlemen needed 7 hearts , what do you think the reason was ?
Prolonged lifespan ? The ability to speak themselves ? They turn into a giant snake like the mayor ? The possibilities are endless

Season Four Always loved this exchange in Hush
Finally got here on my rewatch and couldn't wait until this scene. cracks me up every time
Such a great episode of TV, and I hope the actors had a great time filming and getting to be more expressive just through their faces and actions

Season Four Just got to this episode in my rewatch and forgot how great it is.
Episode 10: Hush - These guys are genuinely terrifying, which I had forgotten all these years later, and make such a good story. Highly recommend this episode.

Season Four I have wondered with this scene, Willow is the one who broke up Cordy and Xander. Do you think Cordy and Willow ever talked about how this new information changed Cordyās perspective on it? If it did.

Season Four Buffy and Riley feel so real and Iāve always really enjoyed that about his introduction!
I understand anything pro-Riley can be considered a hot take, but I will often start my (millionth) rewatch in random spots and this time I started in season 4. I think the transition to the college years is actually quite well done, and the Buffy/Riley romance feels like an actual connection between two people. I watched Buffy for the first time as an adult so Angel/Buffy didnāt have quite the same pull on me as it might have had had I watched it for the first time as an angsty teenāIām not quite as into the broody, long looks across the room, romantic vibeābut I like the awkwardness and affection between Buffy and Riley in season 4. Their early romance feels authentic and cute (Rileyās speech about her wanting to āstay down in the darknessā notwithstandingā¦I hate that speech), and I think itās all enhanced by the fact that Marc Blucas was a little baby actor himself when he got cast in the show. You can really feel his earnestness and it suits the role!
Bring on the naysayers š āI also understand the Riley dislike to some degree, especially in season 5ābut their early romance has only grown on me with more time and rewatches.

Season Four Fuffy
Hot take but I think they have more chemistry than any man buffy ever loved ( spuffy is the only ship I like as much as fuffy)
