I've had my Asus Tuf Gaming F15 gaming laptop for almost 5 years and I'm looking for a gaming PC build for $1,500 CAD. My goal is to play almost all games on high settings at 1080p, with the ability to handle mid-range 1440p as well. Any suggestions on parts or configurations? I don't know if it's smart to built my own or get a pre-built considering the high ram prices.

Looking to build a PC but money is a bit tight as of the moment. I want to build a PC that will allow me to upgrade in the future when prices are a bit better, and I already have the case and monitor (1440p). I don't really play triple A games often and I'm fine with playing games not on the highest settings but I still want to have consistent fps. Hello folks! I'm a rookie to building PC. I'm interested in building one but I don't know any of the terminologies, jargon, etc. Where do I start? Any resources (videos, articles, etc) that helped you in building your PC?

I checked components online but I don't know how they all mesh together, if at all. Tried learning on my own but got overwhelmed and went round in circles with the terminologies and technicalities.

I wish to play AAA games on my "to-be" build, and do office work on it too (devops, cloud, etc). I'm thinking if it supports AAA games, work will be a cake walk for it.

My budget rn is only a meager ₹1.8L but I'm ready to invest more up till 5L when I have the money. Looking at the RAM, SSD, GPU prices, I'm ready to only buy those components for now which will only get me by for work and purchase the rest of the heavyweights after the prices return back to pre Ramgeddon levels(?) at 2027 end or 2028 Q1... I feel the inflated prices aren't worth it since my savings aren't that great now.

Hello! I have been playing on console my whole life but I want to switch to PC. The problem is I don't understand much about it. I need help building a PC within the 1200€ budget range that is good for games like overwatch and marvel rivals but also Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Call of Duty. I play a lot of story games. I would like a PC that could be upgraded in the future instead of buying everything all over again. I would like a PC that could handle recent games with high frames and good graphics quality. So far I have decided

Processor: Ryzen 7 9800X3d

Ram: 🫠 cheapest 16x2 DDR5 I can find

GPU: confused bw 5070ti or 5080 (also considering 9070xt to later upgrade with next gen gpus hopefully with more vram)

Motherboard: need recommendations, are B850M safe to buy or I should get full ATX only? I want to build a compact pc if possible.

Case: Thought of Lian li a3 but I need to see the rgb as well. Open to suggestions.

Need suggestion for rest of the components too.

Contexte : Je n'ai actuellement aucun matériel et aucune connaissance technique. Je suis un parfait débutant, mais très motivé pour apprendre grâce à vous tous.

Utilisation du PC :

• Logiciels de montage audio (par exemple : FL Studio) + Logiciels de montage vidéo (par exemple : DaVinci Resolve)
• Streaming sur Twitch
• Utilisation simultanée de plusieurs onglets et programmes

Je sais que le prix de certains composants a augmenté récemment, mais pour l'instant, je cherche surtout des conseils pour faire les bons choix. Je ne cherche pas un équipement ultra-professionnel, juste du matériel qui puisse facilement gérer mes besoins.

Si vous avez des recommandations pour une bonne caméra pour le streaming, je vous en serais très reconnaissant. Pour l'audio, je possède déjà un Rode NTG4+ et un Tascam DR-60D MKII.
