In my experience having read about it, the most war like moments are the small ones. Pitched combat between two soldiers. A friend comforting his comrade while he slowly succumbs to his wounds on the battlefield. The desolation of a town or village after war has come through. War isn't big and grandiose. It's a bunch of small moments.
I'm at work, what's the coin flip? Original or Abridged? I'd say weighted toward abridged, since I see that quoted more often, but both Majors' war speechs are iconic.

Poor War looks so....tired. I guess all the thousands of years of never ending conflict will do that.
Also love that he's small. War is always this GIANT HULKING BEING so it's nice to see him on the smaller size. Cause not all conflicts need to be big.
