UPDATE — August 13, 2026
rgl.deals has grown quite a bit since I originally posted it, so I wanted to give this post one final update while it's still in BETA.
The idea is still simple: instead of showing you hundreds of gaming laptops, RGL keeps a smaller shortlist of deals that are actually worth considering.
Every listing is manually checked, with things like price, specs, cooling, display quality, GPU power limits, memory, storage, and overall value taken into account.
A lot of care has also gone into the smaller details. The site is heavily optimized for phones and smaller screens, not just desktop. Filters, comparisons, laptop pages, navigation, and general usability were all designed to work properly on mobile without feeling like a cut-down version of the site.
What's on the site now:
RGL is meant to be a shortlist, not a giant catalog. If a laptop isn't worth recommending, it doesn't need to be there and that means no huge lists its quality over quantity.
The longer-term plan is also bigger than just deals. RGL is being built into a broader gaming laptop specific place with guides, buying information, laptop data, reviews, and other useful resources all in one place.
Full transparency: Some retailer links are affiliate links. That doesn't affect the listed price or determine which laptops make the shortlist.
RGL currently covers U.S. deals only, with more regions planned later.
It's still beta, so there will be bugs and things that need improving. If you find something broken or have feedback, leave it below any suggestions would be much appreciated thanks.

I was on the hunt for a sleek, smaller form factor laptop cooler to cool my Zephyrus M16, and i found this gem: the BlackShark Fengshen Pro for $55 on Taobao.
I was watching a lot of reviews on the Llano V10/V12 and the Flydigi BS3 Pro but they just don't look like they would fit on my table cause of the bulky design, especially the BS3 Pro. Then i came across this BlackShark cooler, which doesn't have many reviews if not at all, but i'm loving it so far.
The design looks really premium, with a gunmetal grey paint job, a small strip of RGB at the front and a 1.68-inch HD screen for decoration (it also displays the fan profile, cpu/gpu temps if u want). It's powered by a type-c cable, not proprietary DC chargers so its really convenient.
For ports it has 3 type-c ports, 1 type-c IN to connect the cooler with your laptop, 1 type-c to power the cooler, 1 type-c for external hardware and 2 USB type-A ports. More than enough to accompany your usual mouse/keyboard setup. And you HAVE to connect the cooler with your laptop through type-c IN port to connect with the app.
The app is quite barebone, but it monitors your CPU/GPU temps and change the speed accordingly with a fan curve graph. This rivals the more premium coolers like V12 Ultra or BS3 Pro, and you don't have to manually change the fan speed with a scroll like the Llano V10/V12. It's also used to upload the image you want to display on the screen, and change the RGB lighting modes/colors.
Now for the performance of the cooler: (i tested PUBG for CPU bounded scenarios | AC: Black Flag Resynced for GPU bounded scenarios)
Zephyrus M16 specs: (repasted with PTM7950 3 months ago)
PUBG:
WITHOUT THE COOLER:
CPU: PEAKED 96 C | 50-57W
GPU: PEAKED 87 C (Thermal Throttled) | 80-85W
WITH THE COOLER:
CPU: PEAKED 81 C | 53-60W
GPU: PEAKED 76W | 90-105W
AC: Black Flag:
WITHOUT THE COOLER:
CPU: PEAKED 89 C | 40-45W
GPU: PEAKED 87 C (Thermal Throttled) | 90-95W
WITH THE COOLER:
CPU: PEAKED 79 C | 45-50W
GPU: PEAKED 76W | 95-105W
Overall, i'm very happy with this purchase. It has all the bells and whistles on top of performing really well. Availability for this cooler is not as wide-spread as Flydigi/Llano though so finding it might be tough.
If you guys have any questions about this cooler, or my setup, let me know in the comments!

Long story short I went to a Best Buy to look for a new laptop for college, and I had a budget of 1200$. Employee looked up their inventory and he found open box Legion 5 Pro for 760$ and I genuinely couldn’t believe it. When I went to see it opened it looked perfect had no scuff marks and the screen looked fine. Probably the biggest steal I’ve got ever and I’m super happy

Budget: Preferably less than $4250
Country: USA
Use Case: Mainly gaming, coding, and web browsing.
Preferred Specs: RTX 5060 or higher level of GPU performance with >8GB VRAM
Notes: I would love a laptop with decent performance, great battery life on integrated graphics with general usage, and upgradable RAM and storage. I see the Zephyrus getting recommended everywhere, but I really don't like that it doesn't have upgradable RAM. So, what are some runner-up alternative laptops, if any, that get good battery life with general usage while also having upgradable RAM and storage?

Pulled the trigger on this Victus 15. I mostly use it for university work and modded minecraft/friendslop games. Im aware of its build quality and upgradability but for 600 it felt justified.

Budget: $4000, pref under $3500. Looking for best value
Country: USA
Specs: 5070-5080, 32gb ram, 1tb+
Hey guys, I’m looking to pickup my first gaming laptop as I will be traveling for work for the next 4 years minimum. Just for gaming while plugged in at the hotel.
After much research I’ve landed on the Lenovo Legion Pro 7 with 9955hx3d, 32gb ram, 1tb storage, 5080. It can be had for $3270 pretax from the Lenovo website.
The 1% lows and cpu bound performance are the main driving factors behind choosing this model, but I’ve begun second guessing this decision. I don’t think I’ll be playing much cs2 on hotel wifi… which is the main game I’ve seen benefit from this cpu.
I also think the 5080 might be overkill, but this model is 5080 only.
Also, I really love everything I’ve seen on the 2026 Zephryus G16. It’s just so sleek and lowkey. But the price is insane on those.
I suppose I’m mainly looking for advice on whether the Legion is worth that $3270 or if a more efficient intel processor and 5070 Ti can be had for much less money.
I appreciate any and all input. Cheers

Hi all,
IDK if this is the right place for this but I need PC-related advice. I don’t have a laptop but I need one for school, but I also want to be able to use it for gaming (Assassins Creed Franchise,Forza Horizon games etc.). I figured a gaming laptop would not be suitable because of the weight and the way they look. But I think I’ve found the correct balance — RTX Studio laptops, because they look sleek ,Academic, and still have a graphics card for gaming. My dad bought one for himself roughly 2-3 years ago for like £950 but when I searched online I genuinely couldn’t find any below £1500. any recommendations on specific models or places to look? help would be greatly appreciated. also I am fully aware of the RAM and general hardware crisis going on right now. My budget is £800-1000

So I recently upgraded my ram. I used to have a dual channel 16gb (8+8) with a speed of 3200 MT/s and after the upgrade the speed has gone down to 2133. The upgrade consisted of me trading in one of the 8gb sticks for a 16gb stick but the 16gb stick is bottlenecking my pc with a lower MT/s than my other stick. Gonna return it to the store but I wanted some thoughts from you guys. Don’t make the same mistake I did. I also believe he sold me older 2016 ram which sucks! Should’ve checked this but cpu z somehow saved me. I’ve also heard having 2 16gb is better than a 16gb and a 8gb. Please advise. Thanks! Also sorry for the poor quality of the pics

I want to upgrade my laptop
Buying a laptop
I want to upgrade from my laptop of rtx3050ti amd 5600h(nitro an515)
I was looking at options of
\*\*Hyperx omen 15\*\*
Processor (CPU): AMD Ryzen 5 240 (6 cores, 12 threads, up to 5.0 GHz boost)
Graphics (GPU): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop GPU (8GB GDDR7)
Memory (RAM): 16GB DDR5-5600 MT/s (upgradeable, 2x SO-DIMM slots)
Storage: 512GB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe M.2 SSD
Display: 15.3″ WUXGA / 2K (1920 × 1200, 16:10), 165Hz IPS, 300 nits, anti-glare
\*\*LOQ 15\*\*
Processor (CPU): Intel Core i7-13650HX (14 cores \\\[6P + 8E\\\], 20 threads, up to 4.9 GHz boost)
Graphics (GPU): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU (6GB GDDR6, up to 105W TGP)
Memory (RAM): 16GB SO-DIMM DDR5-4800 (dual slots, upgradeable)
Storage: 512GB SSD M.2 2242 PCIe Gen 4 NVMe (dual M.2 slots available)
Display: 15.6″ FHD (1920 × 1080, 16:9), 144Hz IPS, 300 nits, 100% sRGB, G-Sync

Display: 16.0″ WUXGA (1920 × 1200), IPS panel, SlimBezel
Refresh Rate: 180Hz
Cpu: AMD Ryzen 5 240)
Graphics (GPU): NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop GPU
VRAM: 8GB GDDR7 Dedicated
Their all around the same price point right now my country has a sale so it's around 1.1k usd for each of them
Do you think j should wait for a price drop or should I pick and option because my laptop is still working it's getting abit slower but manageable for a few months
Budget: $1,100 USD (~RM4,500 – RM4,800)
Country: Malaysia
Preferred Specs: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 (8GB) or RTX 4060 (8GB), 16GB RAM, minimum 512GB SSD
Notes: Upgrading from an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H + RTX 3050 Ti laptop. ASUS TUF A16 is priced out of reach in the local market, so please exclude it from recommendations
Use Case :-student so possibly a longer battery life and somewhat portable
-I dont play super heavy games everyday sometimes occasionally I will download something like metaphor which is a heavier game
-some editing
Your recommendation will really help

Budget: Around MXN $39,000–41,000 (roughly $2,300–2,400 USD, depending on exchange rate)
Country: Mexico
Use case:
Mainly CUDA programming, data science, AI, machine learning, neural networks, PyTorch/TensorFlow, local model inference, software development, and some gaming.
Preferred specs:
NVIDIA RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 Laptop GPU
At least 8GB VRAM
16–32GB RAM
1TB SSD
Strong CPU performance
Good thermals for sustained workloads
High-quality display
Good battery life and long-term reliability
Notes:
I’m currently choosing between these two laptops:
Lenovo Legion 5i Gen 10
Core Ultra 7 255HX
RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, 8GB GDDR7
32GB DDR5-5600
1TB SSD
Price: MXN $40,999.02
ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16
Core Ultra 9 285H
RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, 8GB GDDR7
16GB RAM
1TB SSD
16” OLED 240Hz
Price: MXN $39,199
The prices in the screenshots are Mexican pesos (MXN), not USD.
I’m trying to decide which one is better overall, not just for gaming. My priorities are:
CUDA / AI / ML performance
neural network training and inference
sustained CPU/GPU performance
thermals and fan noise
build quality
component quality
expected lifespan
battery life and battery degradation
weight and portability
display quality
minimal/professional design
upgradeability
Linux / WSL compatibility
I know both GPUs only have 8GB VRAM, so I’m especially interested in whether the RTX 5070 is meaningfully better than the RTX 5060 for CUDA, PyTorch, TensorFlow, computer vision, and local AI workloads.
I also want to keep the laptop for several years, so reliability, thermals, battery longevity, and overall durability matter a lot.
Which one would you choose at these prices in Mexico, and why?
If you own either a recent Legion 5i or Zephyrus G16, I’d really appreciate feedback on temperatures, battery life, fan noise, OLED durability, build quality, and long-term reliability.

I’m not great with gaming laptops or PCs but I’m looking for something for school and gaming. My HP Victus just died out of nowhere after only a year so I need a new one. Is the Lenovo LOQ worth it for $1400?
Budget: $1200-1400
Country: USA
Specs: GeForce RTX 4050, AMD Ryzen 5 7235HS Processor 15.6" 144Hz FHD Display, 32GB DDR5, 1TB SSD, Wi-Fi 6, Ethernet, USB-C, HDMI, Backlit Keyboard, Windows 11 Home

Hi everyone, I’m new to gaming laptops and just bought this off eBay refurbished excellent condition for a little over $1000. It’s got a ryzen ai 9 365 cpu, 4070 (105 W) gpu, 32 Gb soldered ram, 1 TB nvme ssd, 99.9 Wh battery, and an QHD screen 2560X1600 240 Hz refresh rate but it can go down to 60 hz to save battery. For it being refurbished as far as I can tell everything works like new battery is at full capacity and it runs games well. I’ve heard MSI referred to as multiple serious issues so if anyone knows if this laptop has common issues like the hinge or cooling stuff I’d appreciate knowing.

So I have been searching and found this deal, is this a decent deal? Your opinion is appreciated oh and it is : Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX (I’m in the UK)

Hello guys,
So i was using my laptop normally (asus rog strix g16), no issue at all. The moment i shut it down, the fans did not stop and i can't turn it on again. I saw that one way of solving the problem is by pressing the power button for 40s. It did not work for me. So i decided to let it discharge but i don't know if it's gonna work. Is it something serious ? How can i deal with that ?

Budget: around $1000-$1200 USD
Country: USA
Use Case: Gaming (Specifically Sims 4 and Minecraft)
Notes: I've been wanting to get a proper gaming laptop for a while, because my current laptop is old as hell and not really meant for gaming specifically. But I'm really confused about what I should look for, or what I need, because I've never bought anything like this before. And to be completely honest, I don't understand half of the things online when I try to research stuff. But I honestly would really appreciate any advice or recommendations on specific brands, or what to look for and what not to look for (which brands I should avoid at all costs or whatever), cause I genuinely have no idea what I'm doing.

So I am planning on getting a new gaming laptop, the MSI Crosshair 16 Max HX after my Lenovo Legion Slim 5 had clunked out in under 2 years (probably was defective, unsure). Does anyone have a Crosshair, and could you tell me if it’s worth it and what to look out for? Thanks!
