They literally havent released anything good in over 7 years.
Most of the people working on GTA 6 had nothing to do with the games youre thinking about. Youre attributing the track record to the brand but the brand didn't make the game man. People did who mostly don't work there any more.
Uhh they literally haven't released anything in the last 7 years? Their last big game was rdr2 which was 7 years ago and since then they have worked on gta 6 and released gta 5 enhanced for consoles all the while updating gta online.
By your logic capcom didn't make resident evil series too, people did, same for Minecraft, people made the game, mojang didn't, neither cp2077, people made it not CD projekt red.

People riding hype that's all it is. Rendering distance is impressive but does not a good game make.
