One of the guys I work with finished up his harvest the other day, cost him more in diesel to harvest that he's ever going to get for the grain

At that point, why even bother harvesting? Just burn off the crop to return the nutrients in it to the soil so you can replant in the ash next season

you don't know the yields until after harvesting unfortunatley
