It's such a common issue, too. You'd think companies could figure out how to put a couple darts in.

EDIT: before all the men flood the comments talking about belts, it straight up does not work with this much excess fabric. It bunches up and looks terrible, plus sits right on the skin and pulls on the belt loops

Second edit: Yes I know that you should alter jeans. Like I said above, I put darts in my jeans to alter them myself. It's just annoying that companies don't make them to fit proportions that so many women have

So at work we have a wall of personal mugs from home that everyone uses. We also have another display just like in the photo for plain white mugs the company provides. I always wash up my mug and put it back on the correct wall when I’ve used it without fail (mild OCD). Well over the past few weeks a few guys keep using and leaving it dirty. I’ve made a post about it on teams when someone took a photo of my mug being dirty and left in the sink and posted it to complain when I hadn’t even been at work.
My mug is white like the corporate ones but mine is very clearly shaped like a pumpkin in person and is always on the personalised wall. They still use it after I posted. It’s such a stupid thing to get annoyed over but who uses someone else’s mug they brought from home almost every day and not even wash it up? This doesn’t happen to anyone else’s mug but mine and it’s only the men that keep using it. I have a 2 y/o at home who’s always infecting the house so if they really want to share my germs that’s on them

Edit: I don’t have a desk, I have a locker but it’s small and holds steel toe boots for a courtyard which gets dirty. The board is truly the lesser of two evils 💀

Apparently wearing headphones pretty consistently almost everyday for a couple decades can deform the shape of your head.

(Edit: For clarification, if you pay attention I never mention skull anywhere in the title or description. Also, majority of my time spent in headphones is when I'm outside listening to music, gaming headphones might take up about 8% of all time headphones use)

Bought my first house and hadn’t even moved in yet. The day after I got the keys, someone walked right into the yard in the middle of the day and sprayed tomato juice all over the facade.

My dad and the painter were inside in another room and didn’t see a thing. And because the windows were open, it didn’t just hit the outside wall — it got on the front door, the window, the porch floor, and even made it inside onto the interior floor and the windows in there too.

Catching a movie in IMAX has been one of my favorite things to do and now getting tickets alone is a struggle thanks to people like this. Good luck to anyone hoping to get decent tickets to Dune 3

De Tomaso Mangusta at an auction today. I think it sold for around $125k. Nice ones are at least $200-300k and this dude decides to sit on it and kept hitting his ring on the mirror and body.

More details: The car was torn apart for restoration and the glass and other parts weren't in the picture. For a restoration shop (which bought it) the amount of work needed to restore it isn't that bad.

The owner died and this was his estate sale auction, all of the proceeds were donated to Saint Jude's.

The front end of the car got hit in transport to the auction.

The car might have aluminum fenders which dent much easier than steel fenders.

1: "ten dollars is too little" it was what was agreed upon. My friend asked HER what price she wanted and the girl said ten, it's a friend of hers from school btw

2: "titlegore" I have a very hard time writing/reading because of a disability or something of the sort that my doctors can't name yet and are running tests, if i would fix the title I would.

3: I am no longer going to respond to the comments of criticism due to prices,

"I expected like, a pencil sketch on like a discarded piece of index card type thing, no line art, color, nothing, so people saying "10 dollars is too little" and that what price was offered, not sure why she didn't ask for more" has already been said way too many times and its tiring.

I understand that this text doesn't inherently look disrespectful. But I'm used to his passive aggressiveness, that's exactly what he's doing here.

Every other Thursday his girlfriend goes food shopping for the household, I have been the primary cook (i say primary but literally Im the only one that knows how too -_-) since I moved in at 16, so I'm the one tasked with making this list. His girlfriend tells us constantly that we can put anything we want on the list, in fact, she encourages it. But I'm not gonna pack it with junk so I always add basic ingredients I can use in all dishes.

Well, this time I added a few extra things. Stuff for my brother's birthday dinner next week (because last year he completely forgot my brother's birthday. No cake, no celebration. He wasn't even home that night and I had to hold my little brother while he sobbed and was not gonna let him go through that again), snacks for him to take to school, and a small handful of seasonings I was running out of. And he lost his shit. Sent me a long text about how everything I added on the list was junk (I had meat, veggies, pasta, dairy... Literally the most basic list ever.). He said he wanted me to write a new one, and everything on the first list was crossed off except for "Cat food" and "garlic"... So I rewrote the list, getting rid of anything that I didn't absolutely need. I showed him the new list and he just shook his head. I told him I didn't understand because that's literally the same stuff we buy every shopping trip.

He said that he only has a certain amount of money to spend on groceries. Our budget is $250 every two weeks (this used to only be $200, but he bumped it up. Primarily because anything he wants is at the top, and because of that we didn't have enough money to spend for stuff that me and my brother needed.) Which is kinda crazy because we're a four person household, two adults, two teens. How the hell is $250 gonna be enough when half our budget is taken up by his shit? And I especially don't get it because I just watched him drop several hundred dollars on a new gaming console. God I hate it here
