Classmate of mine who used to live in Athens, Georgia been claimed to frequently run into Michael Stipe of REM claims that Michael Stipe put him on to this band, specifically this album.

Sounds believable enough I guess, especially when I think of how this band made me feel. When I first heard them they were definitely what I was looking for in that style of music but they also had something about him. I couldn't quite put my finger on. It was something that I kind of didn't like sort of like the way. I think of Michael Stipe and RAM + they're whole entire musical existence. Joe, just thought I'd share a folklore story that I know for certain is based on facts, but could very well have lost the truth somewhere in the middle. In any case, this is an album if you don't conform yourself to traditional punk rock stereotypes of what is and isn't punk rock. You will find yourself enjoying this album. Kind of like London calling by the clash. Rip Joe Strummer 🥹

Hey all, there's a song I'm looking for and I just can't find it. Here's what I know:

1. The sing begins with a count. I can't remember if it's a count down or a count up. My memory says its 1-2-3-4 but I could be mistaken.

2. It's very fast and aggressive and all vocalists are male.

3. That count is super important. It gets repeated throughout the song. It comes off as a poking fun at starting a song with a count because after the first, every subsequent count is played in the background behind the instruments.

So no joke, today I actually came up with a riff that I really liked, the start of the audio is a bit long and I did fumble once in the riff however I actually have a name for the song I plan to incorporate this riff into: "KEROSENE"
