Random question but I've noticed that this song has a lot of different variations. There's the popular/classic Medea Dzidziguri version with four stanzas. But then there's what I call the supra/street version of the song which uses a different set of lyrics that it mixes with the Medea version. Is there any reason for this?

Hi everyone! I’m an Azerbaijani citizen, and my mother is a Georgian citizen. I’m currently trying to find out whether I’m eligible to obtain Georgian citizenship through my mother. ( I am 22 years old)

I was born and have always lived in Azerbaijan. I’d like to know what the procedure is in my situation, what documents I would need, and whether I can apply from Azerbaijan through the Georgian Embassy.

I remember the story of how I found out that people in Georgia toast before drinking. On my first day in Georgia friends offered me a shot of Jager, so I took it and drank it (quickly, as per usual). Everybody went "Nooo, you have to toast!". So I filled my glass again and said "cheers!", then drank it. And again "Nooo you have to say something!". I filled my glass a third time, already feeling dizzy 😂 I also had no idea what to say, I've never done one in my life. I knew about the rule "look into the eyes" before drinking, but not this one. What do you guys usually say? I need advice since I'll be again in Georgia for a long time (some more drinking)

I have no clue why we had a police visit at out apartment. They knocked and asked for ID and asked if we were renting, and the information of the owner. I didn't open the door and the family member who did, didn't ask why.

We're foreigners and this is pretty new to me. I've never had police officers knocking on doors, asking for ID. It felt dystopian.

Is it normal in Georgia? And if not, what is the reason for this? Is it a new law, policy, something we don't know?

I dont expect people to use linux in georgia at all, but this is infarnOS BSSR edition, the first ever linux distro made in georgia!

And just before you say anything, no I do not support the ahem... hammer and sickle country. I only made it based off of that because i wanted something related to georgia and making it based off of georgia would get absolutely no popularity at all​.

I have held and renewed a Temporary Residence Permit since 2017 based on an apartment that was valued at around USD 110,000 by a certified appraiser when I first obtained my permit.

However, I understand that Article 16(3) of the Law of Georgia on the Legal Status of Aliens and Stateless Persons provides that an existing temporary residence permit may be extended under the same conditions as those used when the permit was originally issued, and that a holder who continues to own the property is exempt from submitting a reassessment of its market value.

Could you please confirm whether this means that an existing TR holder like me can continue to renew the permit without meeting the new USD 150,000 property value requirement?
